My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

I enjoy incorporating scripture and spiritual practice for those in alignment with Christian beliefs.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

There is a relationship between how we think, how we feel, and what we do. I explore this connection to become aware of thought patterns, emotions, and our actions as a result. When we can reframe our thoughts or change our actions within this lens, we feel better!

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

Mindfulness is used to deepening our awareness of the present moment, and respond intentionally to the world around us. I utilize mindfulness approaches to develop awareness and intentionality.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is helpful when we feel "stuck" in certain habits or patterns. MI defines the process for change taking place, and tools that can increase motivation towards goals.

Mind-body approach

Our minds and bodies are connected more than we realize! When we integrate the body into healing, or the super powers of our brains into physical discomforts we like to avoid, growth takes place.
