Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

My initial focus is to learn more about you and what you hope to gain from our time together. We will discuss your expectations for therapy and determine whether this feels like a good fit moving forward. If this feels right, please do not hesitate to reach out. I'm excited to meet you and walk with you on your journey!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I utilize an integrative therapeutic approach that includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), DBT, psychodynamic and psychoanalytic techniques, and Motivational Interviewing. My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT can be utilized in our sessions to help identify automatic thought patterns and decrease negative self-talk. This approach can be used for individuals who experience depression or anxiety.

Psychoanalytic

You will find in our sessions that a psychoanalytic approach will be utilized to identify unconscious thoughts and their possible influence on one’s behavior.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing will be used throughout the course of treatment to gauge readiness for change and to strengthen one’s commitment to change.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I utilize DBT in our work together when emotions feel especially intense. A primary focus is on validation and strengthening emotional regulation skills. Our goal is to experience emotions fully while learning how to self-soothe during moments of overwhelm or discomfort.
