(She/her)
Are you looking for a safe space where you can finally be yourself, learn, and improve? My goal is to provide a non-judgmental environment where you can truly be yourself as we work through these areas. I believe that one approach does not fit all, and I am committed to creating a personalized plan that caters to your unique needs. I provide a compassionate and supportive services, where you can safely explore what’s contributing to your emotional distress.
In our first session, we will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy, and what symptoms or concerns are most impacting your life. Whether you are dealing with anxiety, depressive symptoms, stress, grief, or major life transitions, this is a safe and welcoming space to share openly. Together, we will clarify your goals and begin outlining a personalized treatment plan that reflects your needs and priorities. My intention is for you to leave feeling heard, validated, and hopeful about the direction of our work together.
My approach is collaborative and grounded in evidence-based therapies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness-based strategies, and person-centered care. Together, we will explore how your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected — especially in patterns related to anxiety, depression, trauma responses, and stress. Using CBT, we work to identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to anxiety and low mood. Mindfulness techniques help reduce emotional overwhelm and improve stress management. Throughout our work together, I focus on building resilience, improving communication skills, and strengthening healthy coping strategies that support meaningful, lasting change.
I work with individuals as young as 8 up to geriatrics. I specialize in addressing challenging issues such as anxiety, depression, and life transitions that can feel overwhelming or isolating. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling emotionally exhausted, stuck in cycles of overthinking, struggling with low self-esteem, or unsure how to manage intense emotions. You may be experiencing persistent worry, panic attacks, mood swings, irritability, burnout, grief, or difficulty sleeping. I provide a compassionate, supportive, and nonjudgmental space where you can safely explore what’s contributing to your emotional distress.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I have over 10 years experience using this method. I enjoy how CBT allows the client and therapist to identify unwanted behaviors and implement effective coping skills to replace the unwanted with positive behaviors
Person-centered (Rogerian)
I have over 10 years using this method. Person centered is a non- judgmental approach where the client directs the therapy. I enjoy using person centered with client who needs to talk through things with an experienced provider which help guide them to their desired goal.

I cannot recommend my therapist highly enough. From the very beginning, they created a space where I felt genuinely heard, supported, and never judged. Kat has an incredible ability to listen deeply—not just to what I say, but to what I’m trying to understand about myself.
