I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with 8 years of experience. My work focuses on supporting teens, young adults, adults and seniors dealing with anxiety, OCD, depression, trauma, and life stress. Many of my clients feel worn down by constant worry, intrusive thoughts, or a low mood that makes it hard to enjoy life or feel motivated. I take a compassionate, collaborative approach and tailor therapy to each person’s needs. Sessions are a space where you can slow down, feel understood, and learn practical tools to help you feel more grounded and confident over time. For clients who desire it, I offer optional Christian counseling in a respectful, client-led way. You do not need to be a Christian to work with me, and faith is never forced.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a time for us to get to know each other and begin building trust. I’ll invite you to share what brought you to therapy, what you’d like to work on, and what goals you hope to achieve. I’ll also share a bit about my approach to therapy and answer any questions you have about the process.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My approach to therapy is collaborative, compassionate, and tailored to each person. I believe that meaningful change happens when you feel truly seen, heard, and supported. Together, we’ll work to identify patterns, uncover strengths, and develop practical tools to help you move toward the life and peace you’re seeking. I draw from evidenced based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Cognitive Progressing Therapy (CPT), Inference-Based Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (I-CBT), and Solution-Focused Therapy. I also integrate Christian Therapy for clients who wish to include spirituality in their healing process.

I specialize in working with adults and adolescents who struggle with: Anxiety and overthinking Trauma or painful past experiences People-pleasing and boundary issues Identity and self-worth concerns Faith struggles or spiritual questions Burnout and emotional exhaustion 8 My ideal client is motivated for growth. You may not have it all figured out, but you’re ready to do the work. You’re open to reflection, willing to be honest, and desire lasting change, not just temporary relief.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

My attachment-based approach focuses on how early relationships shape current patterns in emotions, connection, and trust. I help clients identify attachment styles, understand relational triggers, and build healthier, more secure ways of relating. Through a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship, we work toward healing relational wounds and strengthening emotional security.

Christian Counseling

In Christian therapy, I integrate biblical principles and faith-based perspectives with evidence-based clinical care. For clients who desire it, we may incorporate prayer, scripture, and spiritual reflection alongside therapeutic techniques. My goal is to support emotional healing while honoring and strengthening each client’s relationship with Christ.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, goal-oriented approach that helps clients identify and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to build coping skills, challenge distorted thinking, and create healthier emotional and behavioral responses. CBT is effective for concerns such as anxiety, depression, stress, and more.

Cognitive Processing (CPT)

I use Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) to help individuals recover from trauma and PTSD. CPT focuses on identifying and challenging unhelpful beliefs related to traumatic experiences, reducing shame, guilt, and fear. Through structured, evidence-based work, clients learn to process trauma in a way that promotes healing, clarity, and restored functioning.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) helps individuals who experience intense emotions or difficulty in relationships. I incorporate DBT skills such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, mindfulness, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients gain stability and confidence. This structured approach supports lasting change while balancing acceptance and growth.
