New to Grow
I am a retired military veteran with over 30 years of leadership and behavioral health experience, dedicating my life to helping individuals and families navigate the challenges and stresses that life presents. I founded "Faith2Action Counseling Services" to continue my mission of supporting those in need, drawing on my extensive background in federal service. Having witnessed firsthand the struggles my clients face during traumatic life events, I understand how feelings of confusion, anger, and depression can take a toll, often leading to sleep deprivation and unhealthy coping mechanisms like alcohol or drug use.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Our first session will be dedicated to building rapport through the intake process. As I gather relevant information, we will patiently lay the groundwork for the therapeutic process. During the intake process, I will work with you to identify your concerns, prioritize your goals, and build a plan for working together. I begin with motivational interviewing to help you to feel heard and respected. Are you longing to be seen, truly seen as more than a diagnosis, more than your pain or your past? Are you ready to reclaim your wholeness, explore the deeper layers of your life, and begin the sacred work of healing? If your soul whispered yes, then take a breath—and welcome. You are in the right place.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I view my clients as the beautiful, whole people they truly are, rather than merely a symptom to be treated. Are you prepared to gently explore the depths of your psyche and confront the roots of your pain in a safe and nurturing space? At Faith2Action Counseling Services, I am committed to tailoring each session to honor your unique experiences and emotional needs. With personalized assessments, effective therapeutic techniques, and unwavering support, we can work together towards genuine growth—mentally, physically, and spiritually. As a clinical social worker and behavioral health specialist, I have had the privilege of walking alongside individuals from all walks of life—providing individual and group therapy, clinical assessments, and compassionate advocacy. I strive to support adults, including fellow veterans, who are navigating the challenges of depression, anxiety, trauma, or those simply wishing to embrace a more fulfilling, mindful, and authentic life. Beloved, if you find yourself standing at the threshold of therapy and pondering whether healing is truly possible, I want to reassure you it is. Healing is not merely a destination; it is a journey back home to yourself, and I am here to accompany you every step of the way. Let’s take this transformative step together and discover the path to your inner peace and fulfillment.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I truly believe that everyone deserves support and understanding, especially adults and older adults, including our brave veterans. My journey has been dedicated to providing healing services for those experiencing complex trauma and the weight of life’s many challenges. In my role as a clinical social worker and behavioral health specialist, I have been honored to walk alongside individuals from diverse backgrounds. Through individual and group therapy, clinical assessments, and compassionate advocacy, I strive to create a safe space for those navigating feelings of depression, anxiety, or trauma. My goal is to help you find a more mindful and authentic path in life.
