New to Grow
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker offering compassionate, client-centered therapy to pregnant women, adolescents, adults, and immigrant families. I’ve supported clients adjusting to HIV diagnoses and navigating parent-child dynamics. My approach is soft, grounding, and collaborative. I hold space for emotions while offering practical tools for growth, with the goal of supporting your healing until you feel ready to thrive independently.
In the first session a client can expect me to explore the reasons they are seeking mental health support at this time. I like to build rapport with clients and create a trusting relationship.
I greatest strength is my calmness. My approach is to be curious with a client and explore ways to move forward. I help bring them to epiphanys that help them find new ways of being.
I work well with adolescents and young adults who are navigating new relationships, school and careers. There are times people feel stuck in life, in a career or a difficult relationship. I like to help people move forward in the aftermath.
When working with children I use attachment based therapy. Parents are included in sessions with children to help strengthen their bond.
Parent and child engage in play while I am supporting parent with how to play with the child and be curious with child to help resolve conflict or address difficult behaviors.
I use CBT to support client who are experiencing anxiety to help them reframe distorted thinking. Clients learn coping skills and practice them in sessions.
I use DBT when a client feels stuck. Supportive guidance is provided for clients to help them move forward.
