New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space and use evidence-based practices in sessions. Life brings both highs and lows, and growth often comes from how we face challenges and move toward healing. In today’s fast-paced world, it’s common to feel overwhelmed by emotions and life stressors. Together, we can organize concerns, build coping strategies, and improve your quality of life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session is a time for us to get to know each other. We’ll talk about your strengths, the areas you’d like to grow in, and what brought you to therapy. We’ll also discuss your goals and what you’re looking for in therapy so we can move forward together with intention.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
With many years of experience in social work and addiction treatment, I support clients in working toward a better quality of life. I take a nonjudgmental approach and use evidence-based practices such as Motivational Interviewing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Solution-Focused Therapy. Together, we identify goals, explore challenges, and build solutions. CBT helps shift negative thinking into healthier patterns, while Motivational Interviewing focuses on working through mixed feelings and strengthening motivation for change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal client is someone who wants to improve their quality of life and is open to meaningful conversation, growth, and change. Healing Life Counseling LLC works with adolescents, young adults, and adults who are ready to explore life’s challenges in a supportive space
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, I help individuals recognize negative thought patterns and behaviors. We then work together to challenge and change those patterns into more positive and constructive ways of thinking and acting.
Motivational Interviewing
Through Motivational Interviewing, I meet people where they are. Together, we talk through challenges that come up, explore mixed or ambivalent feelings, and identify resources that support positive change and improved overall well-being.
