Hello! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. I have been in private practice for the past two years. However, my clinical experience goes far beyond that. I have worked in an inpatient setting, as well as along side of victims of domestic abuse. I love working with teen and women specifically. I have done a good bit of family therapy as well as crisis intervention in my previous clinical work. I feel passionate about empowering my clients and meeting them where they are in their journey toward meeting their own personal goals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In the first session I gather a good bit of information as this will set the course for our work together in the coming weeks or months ahead. I also allow for time for the client to ask me questions so that they can feel more comfortable and engaged in the process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Meeting the client where they are is critical and I believe I do this well which leads to good rapport with clients. I also view most clinical situations from a family systems perspective and utilize that as a tool for change in areas that the client has identified as a goal for improvement.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I love working with teenagers as they prepare to launch into the world whether through attending college or pursuing employment and independence outside of their home. I also love working with women in various stages of life.

My treatment methods

Christian Counseling

For clients that wish to incorporate their faith into counseling, I am happy to assist them. I find this to be a valuable asset to counseling and for the long term success of counseling.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is the primary framework I utilize with clients. There is significant impact of thought reframing and the in ack this impacts behavior. This helps clients to feel empowered to take control over their emotions and goals.
