I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in mental health. I work with clients of all ages and backgrounds with emotional challenges and patterns. I have a strong passion for supporting others, identifying limiting beliefs keeping individuals stuck, and teaching my clients how to break through and achieve a life they didn't think was possible!

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During a first session with me, a client can expect to feel comfortable and safe. I will introduce myself and share a little about my background and what therapy is and will ask you to share about yourself, what brings you in to get support, and where you would like to see yourself.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

With over 15 years of experience in the mental health field, what stands out most about my therapeutic approach is my ability to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel genuinely seen and heard. I draw from a variety of evidence-based methods; including CBT, DBT, IFS, and strengths-based approaches to tailor therapy to each client's unique needs and goals. Whether I'm working with individuals, couples, or families, my focus is on helping clients move through barriers with greater insight and self-compassion, often leading to powerful breakthroughs and lasting change. Clients often tell me they feel both challenged and deeply supported in our work together—a balance I believe is key to meaningful healing and growth.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I’m deeply committed to walking alongside my clients with compassion, honesty, and support. I genuinely care about the people I work with and believe in their ability to grow, heal, and create lasting change. I’m best positioned to serve individuals who are tired of feeling stuck and are ready to face the things they’ve been avoiding—whether that’s unresolved trauma, patterns in relationships, or negative self-talk that keeps them from living fully. My ideal client is someone who may feel nervous but is willing to get uncomfortable in the service of growth, and who is ready to do the hard, honest work it takes to build the life they truly want. Together, we’ll create a space where you can show up authentically, explore deeply, and take the steps needed toward meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

As a therapist, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) as a structured, goal-oriented approach to help my clients identify and change unhelpful patterns of thinking and behavior. By exploring the connection between thoughts, emotions, and actions, my clients learn to challenge distorted beliefs, develop healthier coping strategies, and make meaningful behavioral changes. CBT is effective for a wide range of issues, including anxiety, depression, and stress-related disorders, and empowers clients to take an active role in their own recovery.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

As a therapist, I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients manage intense emotions, improve relationships, and develop healthier coping strategies. DBT combines cognitive-behavioral techniques with mindfulness practices and emphasizes balancing acceptance with change. In practice, I work with clients to build skills across four core areas: emotion regulation, distress tolerance, interpersonal effectiveness, and mindfulness. Through individual therapy, skills training, and coaching, clients learn to navigate difficult emotions and situations more effectively, making DBT especially helpful for individuals struggling with borderline personality disorder, self-harm, and chronic emotional dysregulation.

Couples Counseling

As a couples therapist I aim to help partners improve communication, resolve conflicts, and strengthen their emotional connection. In practice, this involves creating a safe, neutral space where both individuals can express their thoughts and feelings openly while learning to listen and respond with empathy. I support couples in identifying unhealthy patterns, building problem-solving skills, and fostering mutual respect and understanding. Techniques may include emotion-focused strategies, communication exercises, and conflict resolution tools, all tailored to the couple’s specific needs and goals. The aim is to support a healthier, more fulfilling relationship for both partners.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS), I use this evidence-based, compassionate approach to help clients explore and heal the different “parts” of themselves that influence their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. In practice, I guide clients in identifying and understanding these inner parts—such as protectors, exiles, and the Self—while fostering a safe, nonjudgmental space for internal dialogue and self-discovery. IFS empowers clients to build a deeper connection with their core Self, promote emotional healing, and restore internal balance. This approach is especially effective for individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, and self-esteem issues.
