New to Grow
For many adults, especially those who’ve lived through trauma, emotions can feel unpredictable and overwhelming—like tides beyond your control. I’m Jeannine Haney, a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor based in Brevard County, Florida, with a focus on helping clients heal. I work with adults and teens experiencing anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, difficulty concentrating, irritability, and social withdrawal—symptoms that often stem from unresolved trauma, loss, or disrupted attachment. Whether you’re carrying a heavy story, working to heal relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome. You don’t need to have the right words—you just need to show up. We’ll take the rest one step at a time.
Whether you’re carrying a heavy story, working to heal relationships, or simply trying to feel more like yourself again, I offer a space where all parts of you are welcome. You don’t have to figure it out alone—you just need to show up. We’ll take the rest one step at a time. In our first session we will build rapport, explore your symptoms, and make a plan for how best to support your needs.
I create a calm, supportive space where you don’t have to brace against the storm alone. I'm a great sounding board and can help you look at your unique situation from different perspectives to gain new insight. I'll help you develop new coping strategies and reduce the emotional charge around your triggers.
I work best with individuals and families who are ready to explore how the past may still be impacting their present—especially those navigating life after adoption, foster care, or involvement in the child welfare system. Many of my clients are seeking support in building connection, trust, and emotional safety, both within themselves and in their relationships. As we gently peel back the layers of pain, fear, and emotional triggers, you may begin to notice a ripple effect—especially in how you relate to others, and most importantly, how you feel about yourself.
I draw from a wide range of evidence-based therapeutic approaches, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, psychodynamic therapy, humanistic therapy, and metapsychology, using a person-centered trauma-informed approach.
