About me

Hello! I'm a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in California. I received my Master's Degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. I specialize in working with children, adolescents and adults with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ADHD, depression and anxiety. My experience includes providing therapy, trainings, facilitating support groups and case management services in various community mental health and public-school settings. My practice is rooted in creating a safe, compassionate, and neurodiversity-affirming space where clients can explore their emotions, build resilience, and develop practical skills for daily life. I maintain a client-centered approach and integrate a combination of cognitive behavioral therapy, brief solution-focused therapy, parent-child interaction therapy, trauma-informed care and mindfulness-based interventions to address specific challenges.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

For children and adolescents, I usually begin by meeting briefly with both the child and their parent(s) or caregiver(s) to review the reason for seeking support, review important background information, and discuss any questions or concerns you may have. Depending on the age and comfort level of the child, we may then spend some time one-on-one to help them feel at ease and begin exploring what’s going on in a gentle, supportive way. For adults, the first session is an opportunity to talk openly about what's been going on, what you'd like to work on, and what you're hoping to get out of therapy. We’ll go at your pace—there’s no pressure to share everything right away.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I specialize in working with young children, adolescents, perinatal/postpartum mothers, Asian Americans, and people of color (BIPOC). I am passionate about helping neurodivergent youth feel understood and empowered, while also providing families with tools and strategies to support their loved one’s growth outside of the therapy room. Whether we’re working on reducing anxiety, improving mood, managing attention challenges, or navigating the social world, my goal is always to foster connection, confidence, and emotional well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to accomplish their goals. They may be feeling overwhelmed, misunderstood, or stuck—and are looking for a safe, supportive space to explore what they’re going through.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In CBT, we will tune into your internal dialogue in order to identify and challenge negative thoughts. Once you become more aware of the relationship between thoughts, emotions and behaviors, we will learn to adopt healthier thinking patterns and habits.

Parent-Child Interaction (PCIT)

I'm certified in PCIT which is a combination of play therapy and behavioral therapy for young children who age from 2-7 and their caregivers. I work with caregivers to strengthen your relationship with your child and equip you new skills and techniques which help manage your children's emotional or behavioral problems.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

I offer an empathic approach that empowers and motivates you in the therapeutic process. I'm committed to provide support, guidance, and structure so that you can discover personalized solutions which work the best for yourself.
