Hello, I’m Kristin Moreland, LISW-S. I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate the complex dynamics of relationships—whether that’s co-parenting, healing from trauma, strengthening communication, or reconnecting with themselves and others. My approach is grounded in authenticity, reflection, and emotional growth. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected. Together, we focus on rebuilding clarity, confidence, and emotional balance. I believe therapy should feel both safe and practical—helping you understand your story, gain insight into your emotions, and practice strategies that make real-life change possible. The impact I see most often is clients developing healthier relationships—learning to communicate with intention, set boundaries with confidence, and create more peace in their daily lives.
Your first session is all about getting comfortable and feeling seen. We’ll start with a real conversation—no pressure, no judgment. I’ll ask some questions to get to know you, what’s been on your mind, and what led you to reach out for support. You can share as much or as little as you’re ready for. Together, we’ll start to unpack what’s been feeling heavy or stuck and talk about what you’d like to work toward. By the end of the session, you’ll have a sense of what our work together can look like and a few small steps to start moving forward. My goal is for you to leave feeling understood, supported, and a little more hopeful—like you’ve taken a real step toward feeling better and building the life and relationships you want.
My approach blends authenticity, emotional insight, and real-life application. I don’t believe in surface-level solutions—I help clients understand the why behind their emotions and patterns so real change can happen. I draw from trauma-informed, relational, and strengths-based methods, combining reflection with practical tools that you can actually use in your day-to-day life. Over the years, I’ve worked with individuals, couples, and families navigating complex relationship dynamics, grief, trauma, and major life transitions. That experience has taught me that healing isn’t about perfection—it’s about learning to show up differently, with more self-awareness and compassion. Clients often tell me they appreciate that I’m genuine, grounded, and easy to talk to—someone who can meet them where they are and still challenge them to grow. I balance warmth with honesty, helping people feel both seen and supported in ways that lead to lasting growth.
My ideal client is someone who knows they want things to feel different but isn’t sure how to get there. Maybe you’re tired of repeating the same patterns in relationships, feeling emotionally stuck, or struggling to balance all the roles you play. You might be dealing with co-parenting stress, past trauma, or just feeling disconnected from yourself and others. You don’t have to have it all figured out to start therapy—you just need to be open and willing to explore what’s underneath the surface. My clients tend to be reflective, curious, and ready to do the work of creating real change, even when it’s uncomfortable. I’m here to help you find clarity, strengthen your boundaries, and create more peace and connection in your everyday life.

Child Parent Psychotherapy
I have worked with children and families in many forms throughout my career. I value the relationship that exists between child and parent and work hard to support the relationship itself, not showing a bias toward either party.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
For me, CBT is woven throughout the therapeutic process. I am consistent in helping you as the patient make the connections that exist, and we'll work together to use connections like these to benefit your growth.
Couples Counseling
I enjoy working with couples at all stages of the relationship. Premarital counseling to prepare for what's to come, work on the day to day to support healthy communication and general maintenance, even co-parenting for those romantically involved or not, I am here for you.
Family Therapy
My background in intensive work with kids and families in the home support my ability to help your family with any difficulty you may be facing.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
I understand that sometimes you have identified a problem you want to address and are willing to do what it takes to build solutions and move forward. Let's do this work together.

Right away I felt a warm and open welcome from her. She told me a lot about her background and how to landed in her profession. Then she became focused on her what I hoped to gain through therapy. She has a beautiful vibe.
