As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I work with adults (18+) to navigate life’s challenges while honoring the strengths, resilience, and experiences they already bring with them. I support individuals facing anxiety, depression, relationship concerns, and life transitions, taking a whole-person, strengths-based perspective that considers both personal experiences and the systems that shape daily life. Using evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients identify and shift unhelpful thought patterns while building on existing strengths and skills. Together, we focus on developing practical tools to manage stress, increase resilience, and improve overall well-being. My goal is to empower clients to create meaningful, sustainable change and move toward a more balanced, fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and begin building a space that feels safe, supportive, and judgment-free. I’ll ask a few gentle questions to better understand your background, what’s been weighing on you, and what led you to seek counseling. You’ll have the opportunity to share your goals, hopes for therapy, and anything you feel ready to talk about. We’ll also go over what therapy looks like, including confidentiality and my approach, so you feel clear and comfortable moving forward. This first meeting is about connection and collaboration and there is no pressure to have everything figured out. We’ll simply begin, at your pace, laying the foundation for meaningful and supportive work together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I strive to create a warm, welcoming space where you can feel comfortable being yourself and sharing openly, at your own pace. I use practical, evidence-based tools from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help you better understand your thought patterns and gently shift the ones that may be holding you back. My goal is not just to support you during our sessions, but to help you build skills you can carry with you into everyday life. My goal is to help you feel more confident, capable, and supported long after therapy ends.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be feeling ready for change but not exactly sure where to begin. You’re open to looking inward, gently challenging old patterns, and exploring new ways of thinking, feeling, and responding to life’s challenges. I deeply respect the courage it takes to do this work. I show up as my authentic self with honesty, support, and fully present. Together, we’ll work to better understand what’s been holding you back and build practical, realistic skills you can use in everyday life. My goal is to create a safe, collaborative space where you feel supported as you grow, heal, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

My approach is thoughtful and collaborative, using cognitive behavioral techniques to help you gently explore patterns, beliefs, and challenges that may be keeping you from moving forward. Together, we take time to understand what is getting in the way of your goals and work toward practical, realistic strategies that support growth, confidence, and meaningful change.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to help clients understand and work through the effects of trauma in a safe and supportive way. When helpful, I also use these skills in other areas of therapy, such as managing emotions, building coping tools, and changing unhelpful thought patterns. This flexible approach allows sessions to be tailored to your needs and supports healing that fits into everyday life.

Strength-Based

My work is grounded in a strengths based approach, which focuses on recognizing and building upon the abilities, resilience, and resources you already have. This perspective has been a core part of my training, as both my undergraduate and graduate education were built on strengths based practice. In sessions, we identify what is already working, use it as a foundation for growth, and apply those strengths to support healing, confidence, and lasting change in everyday life.
