Becoming a professional in the field of healing was less of a decision and more of a calling. I have always been the person people turn to for sharing their stories and struggles, and over time, that natural empathy developed into a passion for helping others heal. I am drawn to understanding why people behave the way they do and supporting them as they work through their pain toward personal growth. I firmly believe that change is possible, and I have experienced this truth in my own life. My journey through childhood trauma and religious hurt shapes the compassion and insight I bring to therapy.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we'll have the opportunity to get to know each other and determine if we're a good fit. I will conduct a thorough assessment by asking about your background, trauma history, and your goals for therapy. Together, we will begin identifying your objectives and decide if it feels right to continue. From that point on, we will work collaboratively—therapy with me is active, honest, and focused on achieving real-life change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, and easy to talk to. I avoid using clinical jargon or adopting a stereotypical therapist persona. Our sessions will feel safe and comfortable, like talking with a trusted professional who truly listens and cares. I am trauma-informed and balance empathy with accountability, helping clients understand how their thoughts influence their emotions and behaviors. My approach is warm yet goal-oriented; I want you to leave therapy feeling empowered and equipped.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with parents, especially new or expecting mothers, as well as adults who are ready to engage in their healing journey. My focus is on helping individuals shift from a fear-based mindset to one rooted in unconditional love. I am particularly passionate about supporting those recovering from childhood trauma or religious abuse, as well as those who aspire to parent in a manner different from how they were raised.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

I believe that people heal from emotional and psychological struggles through their connections with others. A lot of the time, emotional pain comes from tough experiences in our closest relationships. Because of this, I suggest an attachment-based approach that helps people develop the skills they need to create healthy relationship patterns and build secure connections with God, themselves, and others.

Trauma Informed Care

I really believe in the importance of trauma-informed care when I work with clients. A lot of the challenges people face—like their behaviors, thoughts, and feelings—often come from unresolved trauma. That’s why I make it a point to do a thorough trauma screening with everyone and approach treatment in a way that’s sensitive to their experiences.

Faith based therapy

Around 80-90% believe in God or a higher power. Because of this, I believe clients should have a safe space to openly discuss their views, beliefs, and questions about God. This is especially vital for those who have experienced trauma and find themselves wondering where God was, or are seeking to understand God after being conditioned to view Him through a lens of fear and oppression. I cultivate an environment where individuals can begin to untangle their genuine questions, moving away from fear and unhealthy perceptions of God, and toward a loving, unconditional relationship that fosters true security. All walks of faith are welcome.
