Work and school can be tough to navigate, especially when you're feeling stuck, drained, or unsure about what’s next. As a vocational rehabilitation counselor and clinician, I'm here to walk alongside you as you explore what a healthier, more meaningful relationship with your career could look like. Whether you're feeling lost in a job that no longer fits, questioning your qualifications, or just burned out, we’ll take the time to understand where you are—and where you want to go—so we can build the tools and confidence to get there together. Through my experience as a vocational evaluator, I’ve helped many people uncover their strengths, build confidence, and find direction. Whether you're feeling lost in a job that no longer fits, questioning your qualifications, or just burned out, we’ll take the time to understand where you are—and where you want to go—so we can build the tools to get there together. I bring a strong educational and professional foundation to my work. I hold a master’s degree in Social Work and a master’s degree in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling. I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both Texas and Florida, as well as a Certified Rehabilitation Counselor. These qualifications allow me to support clients through both emotional and practical challenges, especially those related to work, identity, and life transitions.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, my main priority is to create a space where you feel heard and supported as you explore your academic and career goals. We’ll begin by examining the factors that are currently shaping your career decisions, gaining insight into why certain paths may not be the right fit for you. This will allow us to uncover any obstacles or challenges you may be facing. We’ll then explore your aspirations, interests, strengths, and values—key elements that will help us understand what motivates you and where your potential lies. By aligning these components, we can develop a personalized plan that addresses your specific needs and objectives. Together, we’ll create actionable steps and strategies to move you forward with confidence. My goal is to guide you in achieving your career aspirations and provide you with a clear and practical roadmap for success.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Navigating today’s complex workforce can be challenging, but with the right support, individuals can not only overcome obstacles but thrive in their careers. With extensive experience as a career counselor, I’m confident in my ability to guide you through occupational and educational difficulties. I offer a tailored approach to treatment, incorporating methods such as Narrative Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and Adlerian and Rogerian therapeutic techniques to best meet your unique needs.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I work with young adults exploring their career aspirations, individuals navigating career transitions, and those experiencing career burnout. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling stuck or unfulfilled in their current roles and are seeking guidance to find clarity and direction. In our work together, we’ll explore your strengths, set meaningful goals, and develop the tools needed to move forward with confidence and purpose.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

With over 20 years of experience in behavioral health and vocational rehabilitation counseling, I offer a wealth of knowledge coupled with a compassionate, non-judgmental approach. My role is to support and encourage you as you embark on your journey of self-discovery. I am committed to helping you build self-confidence and develop a stronger sense of identity as you advance in your career. By providing a safe and empathetic environment, I aim to empower you to explore your true potential and take meaningful steps toward achieving your professional goals.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

With Solution-Focused Therapy, we will concentrate on addressing your current concerns and envisioning a future where these issues have less impact on your life. Our focus will be on identifying practical steps and solutions that can help you move towards your goals and create positive change.

Narrative

In narrative therapy, we will engage in collaborative discussions to explore and reframe your life stories. Together, we will identify alternative narratives and develop strategies to align your life with the story you wish to embrace. This approach helps you create a more empowering and fulfilling narrative that reflects your true values and goals.
