LCSW, 20 years of experience
New to Grow
I believe deeply in the power of connection, healing, and human resilience. I’ve spent over 20 years walking alongside children, adults, and families through some of life’s hardest seasons. My practice is built on compassion, honesty, and the belief that healing happens when we feel truly seen and supported. What drives me most is the belief that when people feel truly seen, supported, and valued, meaningful change becomes possible. I’ve witnessed incredible strength in the face of hardship—and I’m continually inspired by the courage it takes to show up and do the work. This field allows me to combine compassion with purpose, evidence-based care with intuition, and clinical skill with humanity. It’s sacred work, and I’m grateful every day to be doing it. My approach is collaborative and integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help shift unhelpful thought patterns, and Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to identify strengths, build on what’s already working, and create small, meaningful steps toward change. I also incorporate mindfulness and trauma-informed care to support healing at your pace.
In our first session, you can expect a calm, welcoming environment where we get to know each other and explore what brings you in—without pressure to share more than you’re ready for. We’ll begin mapping out what you hope to gain from therapy and identify small, achievable goals, so you leave feeling heard, supported, and a little more hopeful. I’ll listen closely, reflect thoughtfully, and walk alongside you rather than leading from ahead. I honor your pace and your story, and I create a space that is non-judgmental and emotionally safe for us to begin collaboratively working to develop meaningful and realistic goals step by step.
I have a natural ability to meet clients exactly where they are—whether they’re in crisis, navigating a transition, or seeking deeper self-understanding—and to guide them at a pace that feels right while honoring your story, values and strengths. I’m skilled at helping clients uncover practical tools for change while also fostering the deeper emotional insight needed for lasting growth.
My ideal client is someone who’s feeling the weight of life changes, relationship strain, or emotional overwhelm, and is ready—maybe even just a little bit—to explore a new way forward—and while you may feel stuck or unsure where to start, you hold a quiet hope that things can be different- that things can change for the better. If you’re feeling lost or weighed down, you don’t have to go through it alone. I’m here to help you reconnect—with yourself and with what matters most.
CBT is one of the evidence-based approaches I weave into therapy when it feels helpful for your goals. It gives us a way to notice and understand how certain thoughts may be influencing your emotions and behaviors—and then explore new ways of thinking and responding. I combine CBT with a warm, collaborative style so that you always feel supported while trying out new perspectives and skills.
In my practice, I integrate SFBT by helping clients clarify what they want their life to look like and identifying small, meaningful steps to get there. We focus on what’s working, what has worked before, and what strengths you already have that can support change. This approach is especially powerful when you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure where to start—because it helps you see that progress is possible, even in small ways, and that you already have tools within you to move forward.
