Hi, my name is Kayla. I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with a strong passion to help those who are struggling with various life stressors. If you are seeing my profile, you may be considering taking a step toward bettering your mental health through mental health therapy, and I applaud you for that. In my therapy practice, I strive to create a space where clients feel safe, welcome, and empowered, while working through often painful and challenging life experiences. I specialize in trauma, PTSD, mood and anxiety disorders, grief, and self-esteem. I use a variety of evidence-based treatment methods and techniques that best meet the needs for each individual client. I have over four years of clinical experience providing therapeutic services to individuals in inpatient and outpatient clinics and hospitals.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we will start with introductions and begin to discuss the challenges you are facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Providing a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to share difficult stories is an important mission of mine. I believe that the client is the expert in their own life, therefore, we will work together to identify road blocks that are hindering your path to improved mental health and wellbeing, while utilizing techniques that work best for you.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

I am best positioned to serve clients who are eager to improve their overall mental health and wellbeing, but may not have the tools and support needed to begin this process.
