The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I was drawn to understanding human emotions and how we navigate life's challenges. I gained invaluable experience supporting individuals facing substance use, severe mental health symptoms, anxiety, depression, and trauma. These experiences reinforced my passion for providing a safe, compassionate space where clients feel heard and understood.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, develop practical coping strategies, and build skills that support lasting emotional and behavioral change. My approach is structured, goal-oriented, and tailored to each client’s unique experiences and strengths.

EMDR

I utilize Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) to help clients process distressing or traumatic experiences that continue to impact their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I provide a safe, structured, and collaborative approach that supports clients in reprocessing these experiences, reducing emotional distress, and strengthening adaptive beliefs at a pace that feels respectful and empowering.

Motivational Interviewing

I utilize Motivational Interviewing to help clients explore ambivalence, clarify values, and strengthen their own motivation for change. I take a collaborative, nonjudgmental approach that emphasizes empathy, personal autonomy, and building confidence as clients move toward goals that feel meaningful and self-directed.

Strength-Based

I utilize a strengths-based approach by helping clients identify and build upon their existing abilities, resilience, and personal values. I focus on empowering clients to recognize what is already working, while collaboratively developing strategies that support growth, confidence, and lasting change.
