New to Grow
My approach to therapy is inviting, open, engaging, warm, and kind. I work to create a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable sharing their thoughts and experiences. With a focus on building trust and understanding, I foster strong therapeutic relationships that encourage open dialogue and collaboration. My compassionate and approachable demeanor helps clients feel heard, valued, and empowered, making the process of growth and healing both welcoming and effective.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first appointment is called an intake session. Its purpose is for us to get to know each other and to understand how we can best support you.You will have the opportunity to talk about what brought you here and what you would like help with. You do not need to prepare anything special. Just come as you are. Beginning services can feel uncomfortable or uncertain, but many people find that taking this first step is meaningful and helpful.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I focus on meeting the client where they are. This means having a flexible schedule, where mental health can be the focus and not dismissed due to other needs. I focus on the current reality of the person and the goals they have for themselvses. Reality based, solution focused, cognitive behavioral care allows for the connection of thoughts, feelings and behaviors with positive results.
