Welcome! I am so happy you're here. I look forward to working together to meet your goals. I bring a humanistic and client-centered approach to treatment. Beyond that, I believe in tailoring the treatment to each client's individual needs. As a team, we will discuss which evidence treatment would provide the best results for your individual diagnosis and treatment goals. I have worked with clients of all ages and backgrounds. I particularly love working with adolescents and adults. I want to work with clients to build the life they want to live. I am so excited to hear more about you and your goals.
Our first session will center around rapport building and gathering of background information. I like to treat the first session as an open conversation on what you feel you need to work on and what brought you to this moment. We will discuss important topics such as confidentiality, limits to confidentiality, goals, treatment approach, and previous experience with mental health treatment
My greatest strength is building authentic relationships with client and families, while simultaneously providing evidence-based interventions to fidelity. I pride myself on being highly trained in several different evidence-based interventions and ensuring that I stay up to date on research and treatment options. I have walked my own healing journey. On a personal level, I make sure that I am also using skills and taking care of myself, this allows me to show up as my best self. I value creating a safe and non-judgmental space for all clients.
My ideal client is the person who feels ready to embark on their healing journey. I thoroughly enjoy getting to know people of all different walks of life. When I provide therapy, I ask the client to bring their authentic self and that is who I bring to treatment. Come as you are and let's work together to help you reach your goals.

I will often blend attachment-based therapy with cognitive behavior therapy, for individuals in need of working towards a more secure attachment. This treatment model is used when a client is having a hard time building secure within several different relationship types. I have been using attachment-based therapy for approximately 6 years.
This treatment method is one I use often, when working with children, adolescents, or families. I have been providing child parent psychotherapy for almost 9 years now.
I utilize cognitive behavior therapy when treating many different diagnoses. These diagnoses can include but are not limited to generalized anxiety disorder, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, obsessive compulsive disorder, eating disorders, and post-traumatic stress disorder. I have been utilizing cognitive behavior therapy for 9 years.
I have a vast amount of experience utilizing dialectical behavior therapy (DBT). I worked on a full DBT program for approximately 3 years. A full DBT program provides all four modalities of DBT treatment, which includes group skill building, individual therapy, consultation, and phone coaching. All four modalities are provided only at locations with a DBT program. When providing DBT therapy virtually, I will provide to fidelity the skill building and individual therapy that is included within the DBT model. I have been utilizing DBT therapy for five years.
I was trained in trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy in 2019. From 2020 -2022, I provided supervision for other therapists working on their certification in trauma-focused cognitive behavior therapy and ensuring they were providing the model to fidelity. Trauma-focused cognitive behavioral therapy treatment is the model I typically use for children and teens that meet criteria for post-traumatic stress disorder.
