New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in California and working with adults navigating anxiety, college and career stress, relationship challenges, self-esteem concerns, and other life transitions. My approach to therapy is modern, collaborative, and relaxed. I strive to create a space that feels comfortable, supportive, and free of judgment—where you can show up as you are. I integrate culturally responsive, evidence-based practices such as mindfulness, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), tailoring each session to meet your unique needs and goals. Adulthood can bring significant pressure and change, and it’s common to feel overwhelmed or isolated at times. Whether you’re a young woman navigating dating and self-worth, a college student adjusting to academic and life transitions, or an adult managing the demands of work and relationships, I understand how complex these experiences can feel. I believe therapy should be both empowering and practical. Together, we’ll create a warm, collaborative environment where you feel at ease, supported, and equipped with tools to move forward with greater confidence and clarity.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Your first session with me will include plenty of questions. As we begin working together, I take time to gather important information about your history, current functioning, and what you hope to gain from therapy. This helps me develop a thorough understanding of you and your life so we can create a meaningful and personalized plan moving forward. Please know that this is not how our ongoing sessions typically feel. After the initial assessment, our work together becomes more conversational, collaborative, and guided by your needs and goals. My intention in the first session is simply to build a strong foundation so I can best support and partner with you throughout your therapy journey.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
For me, the foundation of a strong therapeutic relationship is meeting you exactly where you are. While I provide guidance and am comfortable being honest and straightforward, the direction and pace of our work are always guided by you. What we focus on—and when—is ultimately your choice. You are the architect of your own life. My role is to walk alongside you as a supportive, thoughtful guide—offering insight, tools, and perspective while respecting your autonomy. If you’re looking for someone to simply tell you what to do, I may not be the right fit. Therapy with me is a collaborative process rooted in empowerment, self-awareness, and meaningful change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with a wide range of clients, from those exploring therapy for the first time to those returning for continued growth. I firmly believe that therapy can be meaningful and beneficial at any stage of life. I especially appreciate working with individuals who are motivated to create positive change—whether that means feeling better, functioning more effectively, or building a more fulfilling life. Even if you’re unsure where to begin, we can start there. I look forward to partnering with you to clarify your goals, build on your strengths, and support you in reaching your fullest potential. I deeply respect that each client is the expert on their own life. I view therapy as a collaborative process, where you remain the director of your journey, and I serve as a supportive guide along the way.
