About me

I work with adults navigating trauma, chronic illness, and major life stress. My approach blends Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person-Centered Therapy, and EMDR to create a space that’s supportive, collaborative, and tailored to your needs. We’ll focus on processing what’s heavy, building practical coping skills, and helping you feel more grounded, empowered, and able to move forward in your life with purpose.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Walking into therapy—whether it’s your first time or you’ve been here before—can feel like a big step. I want you to know that from the moment we start, this is your space. No judgment, no pressure—just a conversation where we focus on what you need. In our first session, we’ll talk about what brought you here and what you’re hoping to change. You don’t have to have all the answers—I’ll help you sort through what feels overwhelming. We’ll also talk about what’s been weighing on you and start identifying small, realistic steps toward feeling better. More than anything, I want you to leave that first session feeling lighter, heard, and like you’re not in this alone. This is where healing starts, and we’ll move at a pace that feels right for you. You’re taking the first step, and that’s already progress. Let’s build from there.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Meeting People Where They Are One of my greatest strengths is creating a space where people can show up exactly as they are—confused, overwhelmed, guarded, or unsure—and not feel judged. I don’t push people to change overnight. I walk with them at their pace, helping them make sense of what they’re feeling and figure out what growth can realistically look like for them. Holding Space That Feels Safe and Real I’ve worked with a lot of folks who’ve felt ignored, misunderstood, or expected to “just get over it.” That’s not how I work. I listen for what’s said and what’s unsaid. I pay attention to the weight someone’s carrying—not just the symptoms. My clients feel seen, not analyzed. That’s important to me. Keeping Therapy Flexible and Intentional I use proven methods like CBT, EMDR, and person-centered therapy, but I don’t force a formula. If something doesn’t feel right for the client sitting in front of me, we change it. Therapy should be collaborative and responsive. I believe in structure, but I also believe in being human in the room.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you’re feeling stuck—whether it’s because of past trauma, the stress of a chronic illness, or just feeling overwhelmed by life—you don’t have to go through it alone. I work with adults who are ready to heal, even if they’re not sure where to begin. If self-doubt, anxiety, or old emotional wounds are holding you back, we can work through that together. In our sessions, you’ll have a space to be real, feel heard, and start unpacking what’s been weighing you down. Using approaches like CBT, EMDR, and Person-Centered Therapy, I’ll help you understand your patterns, process difficult memories, and build practical tools to feel more grounded. My goal is to help you move from just getting by to genuinely moving forward. If you’re ready to begin that work, I’m here to walk alongside you. Let’s figure it out together.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

“I help people notice the unhelpful thoughts that keep them feeling stuck — like ‘I’ll always be this way’ or ‘Nothing will ever change.’ We work together to question those thoughts, look at things from new angles, and build more balanced, hopeful ways of thinking that support real progress.”

EMDR

“In our work together, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help you process painful memories, feel less overwhelmed by past experiences, and respond to stress in healthier ways. It’s a structured approach, but also deeply personal — giving you space to heal at your own pace.”
