(she/her)
I am a passionate and seasoned Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner with over 20 years of experience in diverse healthcare settings. My career spans in Emergency Care, Intensive Care, and Behavioral and Mental Health, reflecting a deep and broad clinical foundation. I specialize in psychiatric nursing, where I find purpose in supporting individuals on their path to mental wellness. Throughout my journey, I’ve remained dedicated to improving patient outcomes, promoting evidence-based practices, and leading interdisciplinary teams to deliver compassionate, high-quality care. My clinical philosophy is rooted in empathy, collaboration, and a relentless pursuit of clinical excellence.
My goal is to create a warm environment where you feel heard and respected. I focus on understanding each client needs, providing education, and involving family in the treatment process if needed. Each client is unique, and I celebrate that individuality in every interaction.
My greatest strengths as a provider is my ability to build therapeutic relationships based on empathy, trust and nonjudgmental listening. Creating a safe space where patients feel genuinely heard and respected is critical for effective mental health treatment. I approach treatment holistically thus taking into account not just symptoms, but the patient's environment, history, and strengths.
I work effectively with clients managing co-occurring concerns such as anxiety, low mood, or stress that may be intertwined with attentional difficulties. Many are motivated for change but benefit from structured, collaborative approaches that break larger goals into manageable steps. I work well with clients who feel overwhelmed by daily responsibilities, struggle with follow-through, procrastination, or chronic disorganization, and are seeking practical strategies to create sustainable routines.
