Hi there, I'm Kate. Do you find yourself struggling to manage daily life and relationships because of anxiety, OCD, depression, and/or trauma? Do you often feel alone and that no one understands you or your struggles? I see you. My concentration is working with adolescents and adults living with symptoms of trauma, anxiety, OCD, and panic disorder. Treatment is individualized and adapted to each individual client and concern. We will work together using evidenced-based techniques practicing an integrative approach including cognitive-behavioral therapy and mindfulness strategies to help you achieve your goals. My current certifications include Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional-II (CCTP-II). I also have advanced training in the treatment of anxiety, obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder, and phobias. My goal is for you to learn the skills necessary to work me out of a job. Let's get to work!

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together we will take some time to get to know one another and then dive into your specific area(s) of concern. From there we will focus on creating a treatment plan catered to your strengths and goals for treatment.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I am passionate about working with adolescents and adults, particularly those within the LGBTQ+ community. My goal is primarily to ensure each individual feels safe and understood.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

Adolescents and adults living with anxiety, OCD, panic disorder, phobias, or have experienced trauma.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Thoughts influence mood and behaviors, thus this type of therapy can be used to support clients with anxiety, depression, etc.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I use ERP in combination with CBT and mindfulness strategies to support clients with anxiety and OCD.

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

IFS is very versatile, however I tend to use it primarily for trauma, anxiety, OCD and depression.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have multiple grounding, meditation, and mindfulness-based tools used to support those with anxiety, depression, OCD, and trauma.
