New to Grow
My approach is built on a foundation of warmth and non-judgmental acceptance, where you can feel safe to explore your deepest concerns. Clients often tell me they appreciate my direct communication style, which respectfully gets to the heart of the matter without endless circling. By combining a safe space with clear, insightful feedback, I aim to empower you to trust your own wisdom, develop a stronger sense of self-worth, and navigate challenges with newfound confidence and resilience.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
Clients describe me as someone who is authentically engaged and deeply cares about their progress. They've shared that my warm presence makes it easier to open up from the very first meeting, while my direct approach throughout therapy helps clients move past avoidance and face difficult truths. My ability to provide insightful feedback allows you to see patterns you couldn't before, and develop the skills to create lasting, meaningful change.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
Direct yet warm, empathetic, and authentic ("real talk"), I balance clarity and honesty with kindness and validation, building a genuine connection with my clients. I also am fluent in Ukrainian and Russian.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with individuals aged 21 and over, utilizing a variety of therapeutic methods tailored to meet clients where they are and help them get where they want to be, both mentally and emotionally. I do not believe in a cookie-cutter approach; your story is unique, and you don't have to walk this path alone.
Strength-Based
Strengths-based therapy approach helps my clients identify their resilience, and motivation by focusing on inherent abilities, not just problems, leading to greater empowerment, better coping skills, improved relationships, and lasting personal growth, reducing symptoms of anxiety/depression and fostering a more positive, capable outlook on life.
Cognitive Processing (CPT)
Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT) is a specific trauma-focused therapy approach I apply with people with PTSD by teaching them to challenge and change unhelpful beliefs about trauma, reducing symptoms like flashbacks, emotional distress, and avoidance, while improving self-esteem, relationships, and overall life quality as my clients develop new coping skills and master emotional regulation. This approach include lasting symptom relief, greater self-awareness, empowerment, and long-term recovery by shifting negative thought patterns about the trauma.
Culturally Sensitive Therapy
This therapeutic approach allows me to create a safe space for my clients, validates identities, reduces stigma, and addresses systemic issues, fostering a stronger therapeutic alliance and ensuring care is relevant and empowering.
Solution Focused Brief Treatment
For clients who look for a short-term, cost-effective approach that focuses on their strengths and abilities to achieve goals quickly. It empowers clients by shifting focus from problems to solutions, which can lead to increased self-esteem, confidence, and motivation. This therapy also promotes a sense of autonomy, fosters resilience, and is effective for a variety of issues like anxiety, depression, and addiction.
Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)
This method is mostly used for couples. However, because this approach focuses on helping people feel more emotionally safe and connected in their relationships, It also is helpful in working with individuals. I use this therapy method to promote the awareness, acceptance, expression, utilization, regulation, and transformation of emotion as well as corrective emotional experience.
