First off, thank you for taking this step to self-improvement. I am very biased in saying this, but I truly believe everyone can benefit from therapy at some point in their life. My name is Doctor Claudia Krasnicki, I have been a psychologist for the past 20 years. I have primarily worked in hospitals where people have suffered severely and needed the highest level of support. But I have also had my own practice for 10 years and love helping individuals that are able to function well but find themselves suffering in a manner that they need support from someone that is not going judge them and is confidential. I am honored to be allowed into all of my clients lives and help them find peace, improve their relationships with others but with the primary focus on self-care and self-love.
During our first session, I will want to understand what is going on, and gain a sense about what you are looking to work on. I hope to make everyone feel welcomed and hopeful that you are not alone in whatever it is that brings you here. Based on what we explore, will led to our development of goals that will guide our future therapy sessions. This will not only set the foundation of our work. But as we continue to process, it is very common for goals to shift and change.
I feel I was born to be a therapist. With that being said, I try to find a balance between listening but when I feel it safe, I will ask questions and encourage us to explore areas that I am curious about. I often use the analogy of therapy being a walk through the woods together, you are the guide and I am your support looking at areas that might be part of your struggle. I will always find a way to promote a feeling of safety yet focus on your strengths.
I am only able to provide treatment online, so if you are comfortable talking with me over the computer, I would be thrilled to work with you! I am confident I can help anyone that is struggling with mood or anxiety issues and can improve ways to cope and come to terms with issues that are causing distress. Not all pain can go away, but we can find a way of living with it and continue to move your life in the direction you want.

Psychodynamic
Hi there! I can imagine the idea of Psychodynamic Therapy can be a bit "old fashion" but I have been trained by the best in the field! The goal is to have an enriched dialogue, where we explore how your present thoughts, feelings, and actions are connected to your past. My job is to help repair issues that are reoccurring in a pattern you are not happy with and/or making you feel, "stuck" in your current situation.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I love Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) because it breakdown thoughts that have become so integrated in your life, you are not even aware of them. All of our thoughts lead back to a strong belief system that often times, we are blind to but can have a powerful impact on our current issues. We will explore a triangle - in which our thoughts, feelings and behaviors are intertwined. Those that are not serving you well, I will gently challenge and repair.

Claudia is genuinely one of the sweetest people I’ve ever met. She listens to you, she truly cares, and she genuinely wants to see you become the best you that you could be. What drew me to her was her extensive experience in the field and she just had a very welcoming aura. For my first time in therapy ever, she really has made it a positive experience. I don’t feel down or discouraged at the end of every session, if anything I feel motivated and hopeful. I believe with her help I’ll be great.

I think for my first time ever doing therapy that I definitely made the right decision with Claudia. She’s sweet, direct, empowering and a genuinely good person and that has made it so easy to talk to her.

First person who ever made me feel comfortable enough to share my feelings about hurting my self. Always acknowledges when you’re doing well, and always checks thoroughly to see how your mood is each session.
