About me

Hello, I am Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). I received my Master of Science in Counseling and Psychology at Palm Beach Atlantic University. I work with clients who are struggling with a multitude of stressors, setbacks, and limiting self-beliefs. I guide clients through challenges with empathy, understanding, and encouragement. I want to empower my clients to gain new insights, develop effective coping strategies, and ultimately find their way toward a brighter future.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session together, we will start with brief introductions and then began to explore the specific challenges you are facing. I also like to gain an understanding on your expectations and ask about past experiences with therapy to learn what has worked for you and what I can do to help you get the most out of therapy. Subsequent sessions will be personalized towards your goals and expectations. Working collaboratively throughout the counseling process, we will continuously evaluate your progress as you become stronger and more confident in all of your life decisions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths as mental health counselor are my warmth, empathy, compassion, patience, humor and ethical integrity. I will bring to every session an earnest desire to facilitate your growth and healing and will walk alongside you so that you never feel alone. Many clients tell me they feel comfortable talking to me because I am not judgmental, and I really listen to their stories.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy helping adults who may be struggling with the aftermath of trauma or with the challenges of adapting during life transitions.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I feel that it is important to understand how one's thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are related to one another. I’ve been using CBT to help support my clients through their healing process. Using CBT has helped my clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety.

EMDR

I use EMDR to help clients process disturbing images, thoughts, and emotional memories from an event that can remain.
