LPCMH, 9 years of experience
Hi, I’m Jenn—a second-generation Haitian American woman with a lifelong passion for supporting and encouraging others through every stage of their journey. I’ve worked across a range of mental health settings, including hospitals, residential treatment centers, and substance use programs. Through these experiences, I’ve learned that my purpose is to help you feel seen, heard, and empowered, while equipping you with tools to navigate life’s challenges with resilience and hope.
In our first session, think of it like helping me paint a picture of what’s going on in your world. I’ll ask some questions to get the colors, shapes, and textures of your experiences—what’s bringing you in, what you’ve been carrying, and what you’re hoping for. It’s not about perfection, just helping me see the full image so we can figure out how therapy can support you moving forward.
I’m all about meeting you where you are and moving at the pace that feels right for you. I bring flexibility, compassion, humor, and creativity to each session—not just to create a safe space, but to help you look at things from new angles and grow in ways that feel authentic. I also value teaching practical skills and introducing concepts that help normalize what you're going through, so you can feel less alone and more empowered in the process.
My ideal client is open-minded and curious—someone willing to explore the hard stuff, deepen their self-awareness, and embrace vulnerability in our work together. They're also committed to growth by following through on between-session practices that support their progress
I take an eclectic, client-centered approach, drawing from mindfulness, cognitive behavioral therapy, and strengths-based practices. My goal is to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel seen and heard, while helping them put words to what’s difficult to name, build emotional resilience, and develop practical coping skills for life’s challenges.
