Congrats on taking the big step to do something different! The most important and fulfilling peace is the one we have within and I want to help you achieve that peace. I offer a supportive, client-centered approach to therapy where your voice, needs, and goals are at the heart of everything we do. I'm not the kind of therapist you see in movies that are stoic, silent, and scribbling on a clipboard. Instead, you’ll find me engaged, compassionate, and genuinely present with you in each session. We'll work together to create a path forward that feels right for you, at a pace that feels safe and empowering. I bring a strong foundation of experience in supporting individuals through a wide range of mental health challenges. Over time, I’ve developed a particular passion for working with anxiety and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and offering specialized care through Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, an evidence-based approach that can bring real relief and change. In addition to anxiety and OCD, I also support clients navigating life transitions and the stress that can come with them. My approach includes building practical coping skills, managing stress, reframing unhelpful thought patterns, and gently challenging negative behaviors. I also integrate helpful online self-guided resources to support your progress between sessions. Taking the first step toward change can be the hardest and the most courageous. I'm here to walk alongside you, and I truly look forward to supporting you on your journey!

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I am not like the therapist you see on tv and movies with a clipboard on a couch. My goal is to create a down-to-earth and welcoming space where you feel comfortable and truly heard. From the very first session, I want our communication to feel natural and relatable, so you can feel supported and validated as we begin this journey together. During our time, we’ll work on building skills tailored to your unique goals and needs. Even if things feel uncertain at times, my hope is that you’ll leave each session with greater clarity and insight on how to move forward. My intention is to empower you to take charge of your mental health and work toward a happier, more fulfilling life. No concern is too big or too small. I’m here to help you process your thoughts and emotions with care and understanding every step of the way.

As your therapist, one of my greatest strengths is building a genuine connection with you and truly understanding who you are as a unique individual. I create a safe, non-judgmental space where you can openly express yourself without fear. With empathy, compassion, and thoughtful insight, I offer constructive feedback that helps you feel deeply heard, validated, and supported throughout our work together.

For several years, I’ve supported clients using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), helping them recognize and understand the connection between their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we work to reframe unhelpful thinking patterns and develop more balanced, constructive ways of approaching life’s challenges.

Exposure Response Prevention (ERP)

I’m deeply passionate about working with individuals living with OCD, helping them reduce compulsions and regain a sense of control and freedom in their lives. Through Exposure Response Prevention (ERP) therapy, a highly effective, evidence-based approach, I support clients in facing fears gradually and safely, while building confidence and resilience along the way.
