Hello! my name is Amely, and I would be honored to help you through your mental health journey. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming—being vulnerable, opening up to someone new, and revisiting old wounds is not easy. If you’re feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve you, you’re not alone; change can feel scary, even when you know you need it. I provide a supportive yet focused space where we can gently explore those patterns, build on your strengths, and help you create meaningful, lasting change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I will provide a safe, nonjudgmental space through virtual therapy utilizing trauma informed approaches, for those who are ready and willing.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my approach is the balance between being direct and deeply compassionate. I help clients recognize the strengths and internal resources they already possess, even when trauma or anxiety has made them difficult to see. From there, we intentionally build those strengths into healthier processing skills and more empowering ways of navigating life’s challenges.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I have professional experience working with adults, both military related and non, who struggle with problematic anxiety patterns, sexual and/or physical abuse, as well as domestic violence and other specific traumas.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Through CBT, I help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns—such as self-blame, catastrophizing, or negative core beliefs—and examine how these patterns contribute to emotional overwhelm.

EMDR

Through EMDR, I help clients identify and reprocess distressing memories that continue to feel emotionally charged or influence present-day beliefs and reactions.

Psychodynamic

Through a psychodynamic lens, I help clients examine recurring themes—such as attachment patterns, defenses, self-concept, and relational expectations—to better understand their origins and function.
