I am so glad you are here. It takes courage to reach out and I want you to feel welcomed from the very first moment. You deserve a space where you can breathe, feel supported, and be met with genuine care. Clients often tell me they feel comfortable with me quickly. I show up with warmth, calm presence, and real curiosity about who you are. I listen closely to your words and also to the emotions and meaning underneath. There is room here for laughter, honesty, vulnerability, and relief. I work from a strengths based and holistic perspective because you are so much more than your struggles. I see your resilience, creativity, and the ways you have cared for others and pushed through when life felt heavy. I help you reconnect with those strengths so you can feel more grounded and confident in yourself. I also support the mind body connection. As a registered yoga instructor and mindfulness practitioner, I guide gentle grounding practices and nervous system awareness when it feels helpful. These tools can create internal steadiness that supports healing long after you leave the session. Professionally, I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with years of experience supporting people through anxiety, stress, grief, and life transitions. My background in clinical leadership means I know how to remain steady in complex emotional moments while holding hope when things feel uncertain. I believe therapy works best when we do it together. You are the expert on your own life. My role is to walk beside you with empathy, encouragement, and the belief that change is possible. You do not need to have everything figured out. Come as you are. Here, you can feel seen and supported as you move toward a life that feels meaningful, aligned, and fully yours.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session with me is about connection, safety, and getting to know the whole you. When you walk into the space or join online, you will be welcomed exactly as you are. There is no pressure to show up polished or to have everything figured out. The first session gives us the chance to slow down and talk about what is going on in your world, what you are hoping for from therapy, and what would help you feel supported. We begin by talking about what brought you here. You might share your current stressors, patterns you are noticing, challenges in relationships, or areas of life where you feel stuck or overwhelmed. I listen deeply and with compassion. My role is to hear not just the problems but also the strengths, hopes, and values that live underneath. I want to understand what matters most to you, what you have already tried, and what you wish felt different. We explore your goals together. You get to name what you want for yourself, whether that is feeling more grounded, creating healthier boundaries, reducing anxiety, improving communication, navigating a big life transition, or reconnecting with parts of yourself that have been quiet for a while. You are always in the driver’s seat. My job is to collaborate with you on a plan that feels realistic, meaningful, and tailored to your needs. Because my approach is holistic, we may also talk about your nervous system, sleep, relationships, the body, movement, and places where stress shows up physically. If you are open to it, I can guide a brief grounding or mindfulness moment so you leave with at least one tool you can use right away. This might include gentle breathwork, noticing sensations with curiosity, or simply giving the body a moment to exhale. Clients often tell me that even in a first session they feel relief in being heard and understood. You will feel what it is like to sit with someone who believes deeply in your resilience and sees your strengths clearly. You can expect a space where your story is held with care, where we move at a pace that feels comfortable, and where there is room for both your pain and your hope. We will also talk through practical things like scheduling, confidentiality, and how we will measure progress together. I want you to feel confident in how this process works and supported in asking any questions you have. By the end of the first session, my intention is that you walk away with: • A sense of safety and trust in the therapeutic relationship • Feeling more grounded than when you arrived, even by a little bit • The beginning of a shared understanding of what you want to change • Validation and reflection of the strengths you already have • A deeper awareness of how your experiences impact your emotional and physical world • One or two practices or insights you can carry into the week • A sense of not having to do this alone anymore

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring a blend of professional experience, intuitive understanding, and genuine compassion to the work I do. My greatest strengths come from the way I fully show up with my clients. I listen not only to the words spoken but also to the emotions, the pauses, and the deeper meaning underneath. I hold space in a way that helps people feel safe enough to be honest with themselves, sometimes for the first time in a long time. My approach integrates both heart and skill. I combine a strong clinical foundation with a belief that people are more than their symptoms or struggles. I work from a strengths based and holistic perspective, which means I see the full picture of who you are. I notice your resilience, creativity, humor, and the ways you have survived what life has asked of you. I also believe in honoring the mind body connection, because healing happens when all parts of the self feel supported. I am a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker with years of experience helping people through grief, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and stress that feels heavier than it should. I have worked in clinical leadership roles supporting crisis teams and frontline staff. That experience has shaped my ability to stay grounded in intense moments, think clearly under pressure, and hold hope even when someone feels overwhelmed. I know what it means to walk with people during their hardest times and still believe in their future. As a registered yoga instructor with a strong mindfulness background, I bring the body and the nervous system into the therapeutic space. I guide clients in grounding, gentle breathwork, and awareness practices that help them strengthen inner steadiness and self trust. I am skilled at helping people tune into the wisdom of their bodies and build a new relationship with stress, anxiety, and emotion. This mind body approach gives clients practical support they can use well beyond the therapy room. My tone is warm and human. I am both calm and engaged. I ask thoughtful questions that help clients discover what is true for them. I reflect back their strengths so they can see themselves with more care and clarity. I help connect dots between past experiences and present patterns, and I offer tools that support the life they want to live. I believe strongly in collaboration. I do not assume I have all the answers. You are the expert on your life. My role is to walk beside you with guidance, encouragement, and a belief in you

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I am here for people who want to feel more connected to themselves and their lives. My ideal clients are thoughtful, reflective, and often caring deeply about others, sometimes more than they care for themselves. They may be going through a major transition or simply sensing that something is ready to shift. They want to feel grounded again, more confident in their voice, and more at home in their body and relationships. Many of the clients I work with are navigating stress, anxiety, perfectionism, rumination, or the ways past relationships still affect the present. Others are adjusting to a new season of life: parenting changes, partnership shifts, career growth, or stepping into more independence. Some feel stuck between where they have been and where they want to go. They know there is more possible for them and they are ready to explore that path with support. My clients value authenticity and want to live in alignment with their values. They are curious about both their inner world and the patterns that shape their relationships. Even if they struggle with self compassion, they are longing to treat themselves with more care. They are interested in tools to calm the nervous system, build emotional resilience, and make choices from a place of clarity rather than fear. How We Work Together The people who benefit most from working with me appreciate that therapy is both reflective and active. We take time to slow down, notice what is happening within, and connect with the deeper values that guide change. We also build skills and strategies that help life feel a little lighter and more manageable day by day. Clients often come to me because they want to: • Manage anxiety and stop getting overwhelmed by their thoughts • Improve confidence and strengthen boundaries • Heal from old wounds and shift limiting self beliefs • Understand and improve relationship patterns • Cultivate balance and reduce burnout • Feel less alone in their stress and emotions • Reconnect with creativity, joy, and purpose • Learn grounding and mindfulness practices that support the body and mind I offer a compassionate space where all parts of the self are welcome: the strong parts, the tender parts, and the parts still finding their voice. Through active listening, strengths based reflection, holistic awareness, and evidence based approaches like ACT and Motivational Interviewing, I help clients see their resilience more clearly and feel empowered to make meaningful changes. My treatment methods

Motivational Interviewing

In my sessions, I use motivational interviewing to meet clients exactly where they are. I listen closely for their strengths, their values, and the parts of them that already believe in change. With curiosity and compassion, I help them gently look at what they want for themselves and what might be getting in the way. Together, we explore possibilities rather than forcing answers. I reflect back their own language of hope, resilience, and self-knowledge so that any step forward comes from within. My goal is for clients to feel seen, empowered, and supported as they move toward what feels aligned and healing in their lives.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

In my sessions, I bring in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy as a way of helping clients make more room for their inner world with kindness. Instead of battling thoughts or feelings, we get curious about them. We notice what they are trying to say. I help clients connect with what matters most in their lives so that their choices reflect their values and the person they want to be. We practice grounding, mindfulness, and creative exercises that help them feel present and steady. Together, we explore how to take small meaningful steps forward even when life feels messy or uncomfortable. My hope is that clients leave session feeling supported, empowered, and a little more at home with themselves.
