Hi, I’m Gabriel, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, bipolar disorder, and personality-related challenges. I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build emotional balance, practical coping skills, and clarity around their values. I strive to create a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel understood and empowered to make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other in a supportive, low-pressure environment. We’ll talk about what’s bringing you to therapy, your goals, and any challenges you’ve been facing. I’ll also ask about your background and what you hope to gain from our work together. From there, we’ll begin creating a personalized plan, and I’ll introduce practical tools you can start using right away. My goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and clearer about your next steps.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths is my ability to create a calm, supportive space where clients feel safe being honest and vulnerable. I combine evidence-based approaches like ACT and DBT with practical, real-world strategies to help clients manage emotions, build resilience, and stay connected to what matters most to them. I’m thoughtful, collaborative, and skills-focused, and I work closely with clients to help them gain insight, develop healthier coping patterns, and create lasting change they can carry into everyday life.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

You may be feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, depression, mood swings, or ongoing emotional challenges, and looking for practical tools to help you feel more grounded and in control. You might be someone who wants to better understand your emotions, improve relationships, and build healthier ways of coping with stress. I’m especially well-suited for adults who are motivated for change, open to learning new skills, and ready to explore their values so they can create a more meaningful, balanced life.

My treatment methods

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help clients develop psychological flexibility — learning how to make space for difficult thoughts and emotions while staying connected to what truly matters to them. In our work together, we focus on building awareness, clarifying values, and practicing practical skills that support meaningful change. ACT helps clients move forward even when challenges are present, rather than waiting for symptoms to disappear before living fully.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help clients build practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving relationships, and coping with distress in healthier ways. Together, we work on mindfulness, emotion regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness so clients can feel more balanced, grounded, and in control. DBT supports clients in creating meaningful change while also learning self-acceptance.
