I am a Licensed Therapist with over a decade of experience collaborating with individuals and families as they navigate life’s most challenging moments. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Chicago, where I developed a deeper understanding of the complexities of the human experience. My work is grounded in creating a safe & compassionate space where you feel seen, heard, understood, & supported. Together, we will work toward clarity & healing, building a path forward that aligns with your values & supports a more meaningful, fulfilling, & authentic life.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
From our first session, you’ll enter a space that prioritizes safety, compassion, & genuine care. We will explore what brings you to therapy, clarify your goals, & collaboratively build an intentional, evolving plan to support your growth.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My commitment is to listen with genuine care & to be fully present with you, honoring your emotions while gently guiding you toward a life that feels meaningful & authentic. I ground my work in evidence-based practices, take a pluralistic approach that centers your unique needs, & prioritize a collaborative therapeutic relationship as the foundation for healing and growth.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work with individuals navigating life transitions who are seeking clarity, emotional grounding, & meaningful change. This includes postpartum adjustment, young adults redefining identity & purpose, & individuals healing from relational patterns that no longer serve them. My clients are thoughtful and self-reflective, even when feeling overwhelmed or uncertain. I offer a collaborative, relational approach grounded in evidence-based practice, with a focus on resilience, connection, and living in alignment with one’s values.
Acceptance and commitment (ACT)
My clinical work is deeply rooted in Acceptance & Commitment Therapy (ACT). Through multiple ACT courses & a postgraduate fellowship focused on this framework, I integrate ACT across all areas of my practice; supporting individuals in clarifying their values, building lives of meaning, & learning to live fully with emotions, relationships, & the richness of human experience.
Trauma Informed Care
I have pursued ongoing training in trauma-informed care (TIC) throughout my career. TIC provides an essential foundation in my work, helping me recognize & respond to how traumatic experiences may affect an individual’s sense of safety, agency, and capacity to engage in life.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy
Mindfulness has been central to my professional training & personal practice. It has played a pivotal role in the work I do with individuals; inviting connection with the body’s language, honoring the gravity of the present moment, & practicing how to live with experience rather than remaining caught in the pursuit of letting go.
