New to Grow
Hi, I’m Viviana. I work with adults navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, with a special focus on perinatal mental health — including pregnancy, postpartum, and fertility challenges. My goal is to create a safe, compassionate space where you can explore your story, heal from past hurts, and feel more grounded and empowered in your life. Together, we’ll work toward understanding yourself more deeply, breaking free from patterns that no longer serve you, and building a future filled with hope and resilience.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some gentle questions about your story, current challenges, and hopes for our work together, while making sure you feel safe and comfortable to share at your own pace. We’ll begin to set goals and talk about what you want from therapy, so you leave with a sense of understanding, support, and a plan for moving forward.
What stands out about my approach is that I combine psychodynamic insight, strength-based support, and trauma-informed care to meet you where you are. I focus on understanding the deeper patterns shaping your experiences while also highlighting your strengths and resilience. This means clients not only gain insight into their challenges but also leave feeling empowered, supported, and capable of creating meaningful change in their lives.
My ideal client is someone who may feel overwhelmed, stuck, or unsure how to move forward, yet has a quiet hope that life can feel better. They might be navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, or major life changes — especially related to pregnancy, postpartum, or parenting — and want to better understand themselves and heal old wounds. They are open to exploring their feelings and patterns, even if it feels scary at first, and they long for greater self-compassion, stronger relationships, and a sense of peace. What we have in common is a belief that healing is possible and that change can begin by gently looking within, with support and understanding.
I use a psychodynamic approach, which means we’ll gently explore how your past experiences and patterns might be shaping how you feel and relate to others today. Together, we’ll look at the themes that keep coming up in your life and make sense of them in a safe, supportive space. As we bring understanding to these patterns, you can heal old wounds, feel more grounded, and create new ways of coping and connecting.
I use a strength-based approach, gently helping you reconnect with the resilience and wisdom you already carry — even if it’s hard to see right now. Together, we’ll uncover the strengths that have helped you through challenges before and nurture new ones as you heal and grow. My hope is that you’ll begin to feel more confident, capable, and supported as you move toward the life you want.
I practice trauma-informed care, which means I create a space where you feel safe, respected, and in control of your healing. We’ll move at a pace that feels right for you, always honoring your boundaries and experiences. My goal is to help you feel grounded, understood, and supported as you process the impact of past hurts and move toward healing and wholeness.
