New to Grow
I’m a compassionate and client-centered counselor dedicated to supporting individuals through challenges related to mental health and/or substance use. I use evidence-based approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, trauma-informed care, and mindfulness-based techniques to help clients build resilience, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward lasting recovery. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where healing and growth can thrive.
In our first session, we’ll take time to get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask some questions to understand your goals, concerns, and background, but the pace is entirely up to you.
My greatest strength is creating a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly heard. I meet people where they are, empowering them to explore their challenges and build resilience through personalized, collaborative care.
I’m best positioned to support clients who feel overwhelmed, stuck, or disconnected and want to reclaim a sense of control and purpose. Whether you're navigating mental health struggles or substance use, I offer a compassionate space to help you reconnect with your strengths and move forward.
I regularly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) in my counseling practice to help clients identify and challenge negative thought patterns that contribute to both mental health symptoms and/or substance use. By using tools like thought records, coping skills training, and relapse prevention planning, I support clients in developing healthier beliefs and behaviors. CBT’s structured, collaborative approach empowers them to build resilience and make lasting changes.
I incorporate trauma-informed care by creating a safe, supportive environment that recognizes the impact of trauma on mental health and/or substance use. I prioritize trust, empowerment, and collaboration, tailoring interventions to avoid re-traumatization and promote healing. This approach helps clients feel respected, understood, and more engaged in their recovery process.
I use mindfulness-based therapy to help clients develop present-moment awareness and reduce emotional reactivity. By incorporating techniques like guided meditation, breathwork, and body scans, I support clients in managing stress, cravings, and intrusive thoughts. This approach fosters self-compassion, emotional regulation, and greater resilience in recovery.
