Hi, I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, and my goal is to support you by building on the strengths you already have. I work with people going through life transitions, depression, anxiety, self-esteem challenges, school stress, adjustment concerns, and trauma. I know that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, so I strive to create a safe, welcoming space where you can share openly without judgment. In our work together, I use proven approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) while also focusing on what makes you resilient and unique. Whether you’re navigating a big change, working through difficult emotions, or wanting to better understand yourself, I’ll be here to walk alongside you. My hope is that our time together helps you feel supported, empowered, and more confident in facing life’s challenges

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my main goal is to get to know you and understand what brings you to therapy. We’ll spend time talking about your current concerns, your goals, and what you’d like to get out of our work together. I’ll also ask about your background and any important experiences that help me better understand your story. You can expect the first session to feel like a conversation rather than a test—I want you to feel comfortable, heard, and supported. This is also your chance to ask me questions, share any preferences you have for therapy, and let me know what feels most helpful to you. By the end of our first session, we’ll begin identifying some goals and next steps so you leave with a sense of direction and hope.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel comfortable being themselves. I believe that healing begins with feeling understood, and I make it a priority to listen with compassion and without judgment. Another strength of my approach is blending evidence-based methods, like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), with a strengths-based perspective. This means I not only help clients work through challenges and unhelpful patterns, but I also highlight the resilience, skills, and resources they already have. Clients often share that they appreciate my calm, approachable style and the way I offer practical tools they can use right away, while also helping them build long-term growth and confidence.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to explore their emotions, gain insight into their challenges, and take steps toward growth. Many of my clients are navigating life transitions, struggling with anxiety or depression, working on building self-esteem, or processing past experiences that continue to affect them. I predominantly work with teens and adults. I especially enjoy working with individuals who may feel stuck, overwhelmed, or uncertain about their next steps, and who are seeking a supportive space to sort through their thoughts and feelings. My approach is collaborative and compassionate—I meet you where you are and help you move toward your goals at a pace that feels right for you. Whether your goal is to feel less anxious, build healthier coping strategies, strengthen relationships, or regain a sense of balance in your life, I’m here to support and guide you through that process.

My treatment methods

Attachment-based

focuses on understanding how early childhood relationships, particularly with caregivers, shape adult relationships and emotional well-being. It aims to help individuals heal from past attachment wounds and develop more secure and fulfilling relationships in the present. This is achieved by creating a safe and supportive therapeutic environment where clients can explore their attachment history, identify negative patterns, and learn healthier ways of relating to others

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have extensive experience using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), an evidence-based approach that helps clients recognize and change unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors. In my practice, I guide clients to explore the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and actions. Together, we identify patterns that may be keeping them stuck and develop practical tools to create healthier ways of coping. I often integrate CBT into sessions by helping clients challenge negative self-talk, practice new coping skills, and set realistic goals. My approach is collaborative and supportive—I work alongside clients to ensure strategies are personalized to their unique needs. Many clients find that CBT not only helps reduce symptoms of anxiety, depression, and stress, but also empowers them with skills they can use long-term
