(she/her)
I’m a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and Florida Approved Qualified Supervisor with over eight years of experience supporting children, teens, and adults. I specialize in trauma-informed care using EMDR, ExRP, and CBT strategies. My style is warm, compassionate, and collaborative. I tailor each session to your needs, honoring your pace and story. Whether you're facing anxiety, building emotional skills, or processing life experiences, I’m here to support meaningful, lasting change.
Your first session is all about getting to know each other. I’ll take time to learn more about you, what brings you to therapy, your goals, and any questions or concerns you may have. We’ll talk about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to get out of our time together. This session also gives you a chance to see if I’m the right fit for you. There’s no pressure to share everything right away. My goal is to create a space where you feel safe, heard, and supported from the very beginning.
My approach is collaborative, client-centered, and grounded in authenticity. I believe healing happens in safe, trusting relationships, so I work to create a space where you feel respected, supported, and understood. I tailor each session to your unique needs and pace, blending evidence-based modalities like EMDR, ExRP, and CBT. I bring compassion and curiosity into the work, helping you move toward healing and self-awareness, not just symptom relief. Therapy with me is a partnership, not a prescription.
My ideal client is reflective, open to collaboration, and seeking a safe, honest space to explore what’s really going on beneath the surface. They aren’t just looking to cope, they want to heal and move forward with greater clarity and confidence.
I utilize a trauma-informed approach and if the client wishes, can incoporate EMDR to help resolve concerns related to negative beliefs and yourself and/or the world.
ExRP is the most evidenced-based modality to treat OCD and I utilize this through a trauma-informed lens to support clients struggling with intrusive thoughts and compulsions. I utilize aspects of ERP to help clients with various anxiety disorders.
I utilize DBT-informed practices to help clients expand their window of tolerance. While I am not able to offer a comprehensive DBT treatment, I use the 4 modules of DBT to support clients as they build their coping strategies toolkit.
Cognitive Behavioral Therapy has been researched extensively and has supported many clients as they navigate transitions, anxiety and mood disorders. My approach to CBT is to utilize my trauma informed lens and empower clients to learn how their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors are connected and to make meaningful change.
I believe that therapeutic modalities are not a 'one size fits all', which allows me to expand and be creative with my method in how I support clients. I am flexible and my goal is to ensure the client feels safe in the therapeutic relationship.
