New to Grow
Welcome—I’m so glad you’re here! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and work primarily with women navigating anxiety, depression, self-esteem challenges, and relationship concerns. I’m passionate about helping clients reconnect with their inner strength and take meaningful steps toward healing. I understand that embarking on this journey can feel daunting, but I will be here to guide and support you every step of the way. Picture yourself calm, confident, and in charge of your life. You feel empowered and self-assured, embracing each day with a sense of purpose. Your relationships are more fulfilling, your sense of self is stronger, and life feels full of potential. My goal is to create a warm, welcoming space where you feel safe to explore, grow, and rediscover your resilience.
If you're here with me, you’re likely wanting a supportive space to talk through what’s been weighing on you. I focus on building a trusting, empathetic relationship and strive to make you feel welcomed and safe from the moment we meet. After we get to know each other a bit, we’ll talk about what brought you to therapy and the changes you’d like to see in your life. My goal is for you to leave that first session feeling seen, heard, understood, and optimistic about the work we’ll do together.
I create a warm, welcoming space where clients feel safe exploring their thoughts and emotions. I meet clients where they are and work collaboratively, blending empathy with practical strategies, to help them understand themselves, build confidence, and navigate everyday challenges. My goal is to build trust and a strong therapeutic relationship, so together we can honor your unique story and help you rediscover your strength and resilience.
Are you a woman ready to break free from the patterns that leave you feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected? You’ve spent so much time caring for others that your own needs have been pushed aside, leaving you anxious, exhausted, or unsure of your next step. Maybe you’re moving through life on autopilot, wondering why nothing ever seems to change. You want to feel grounded, confident, and capable of enjoying life again. If this resonates, you’re exactly who I’m here to support and I can't wait to meet you!
In our work together, I often draw from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. That means that we look at the thoughts and patterns that show up during stressful or emotional moments and explore how they’re influencing how you feel and what you do. We break things down in a way that makes them easier to understand and then we work together to develop more balanced ways of thinking and responding. The goal isn’t to ‘think positive’ but to build insight and create practical, meaningful shifts in your day-to-day life. It’s a collaborative process and we move at a pace that feels comfortable for you.
In sessions, I also draw from psychodynamic work, to focus on gaining insight into deeper patterns that have been shaped by past experiences and relationships. Together, we explore how these old patterns might still be influencing your emotions, expectations, and reactions today. This isn’t about dwelling on the past but about understanding the roots of what you’re feeling now so you can respond in more intentional and empowered ways moving forward.
With solution-focused work, we'll concentrate on what’s already going well and identify the strengths and resources you naturally bring to challenges. We look at the changes that you want to make, highlight moments where those changes are already happening, and build on them. This approach helps create clear and realistic steps forward, by focusing on possibilities and what’s within your control right now.
When using interpersonal therapy, we focus on how your relationships and social interactions are affecting your mood and overall well-being. We look at communication patterns, role changes, conflicts, or areas where support may feel like it's missing. Together, we'll work on building healthier ways of connecting with others and expressing your needs so your relationships can feel more balanced and supportive.
With a mindfulness-based approach, we work on slowing down, staying grounded in the present moment, and noticing thoughts and emotions without getting pulled into them. We practice strategies that help you create more space between what you feel and how you respond, so you can navigate stress with more clarity and calm. It’s about building awareness, not perfection, and using that awareness to support emotional resilience.
