In our first session together, here's what you can expect
During our first session, we’ll take time to get to know one another and discuss what brings you to therapy. I’ll review informed consent, confidentiality, and answer any questions you may have about the therapeutic process so you feel comfortable and supported. You can expect a collaborative, judgment-free space where we move at your own pace — there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready for. I’ll also share a bit about my background and approach so we can determine together if this feels like the right fit for your needs and goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I’ve had the privilege of working with clients facing a wide range of challenges and unique experiences. My approach is collaborative — we’ll explore what works best for you and use those strengths to support your growth and healing.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I work best with clients who have a trauma history and are ready to invest in their personal growth. My ideal client is someone seeking to understand the roots of their anxiety and depression while developing the skills and confidence to move forward. My approach emphasizes safety, empowerment, and collaboration in the therapeutic process.
Reality Therapy
Reality Therapy, developed by William Glasser, is a counseling approach that emphasizes personal responsibility and choice. It focuses on present behaviors and relationships, helping individuals identify actions that align with their needs and values. The goal is to support clients in developing effective strategies to fulfill their basic psychological needs in healthy and constructive ways.
