LMFT, 25 years of experience
New to Grow
Life doesn’t come with a map—and sometimes the road takes unexpected turns. Maybe you’ve hit a season that feels heavy, confusing, or lonely. You want to feel better, but you’re not sure where to begin. That’s where I come in. I’m Stacey Wright, a Marriage and Family Therapist with over 25 years of experience helping people find light in dark moments and hope when it feels lost. Together, we’ll sort through what’s weighing you down, uncover your strengths, and help you move toward a more balanced, peaceful, and joyful life. Therapy with me is a mix of real talk, gentle guidance, and creative problem-solving. I’ll meet you where you are—whether you’re navigating anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, relationship stress, or just trying to make sense of a big life change. Together, we’ll sort through the tough stuff, build new tools, and uncover the strengths you already have (even if you can’t see them yet). If faith is part of your story, we can bring that into the process, too. I offer a space where your spiritual values can guide and strengthen your healing journey—but it’s always your choice, your pace, your path. My office is a space to breathe, cry, laugh, and start again—a place where you can show up exactly as you are. My goal is to help you find relief, balance, and maybe even a spark of joy again. When I’m not in session, you’ll probably find me thrifting for hidden treasures, crafting something colorful, cheering on my favorite teams, or playing games with friends and family. Because life’s too short not to mix a little fun into the healing process! If you’re ready to take the next step toward feeling better, I’d be honored to walk with you. Let’s begin this journey together.
Your first session is all about getting to know you—no pressure, no judgment, no awkward small talk required. We’ll take things at your pace. You can share as much or as little as you’re comfortable with. My job is to listen, learn what’s been weighing on you, and start to understand what you’re hoping to change or feel better about. We’ll talk a bit about what’s bringing you in, what’s been working (and what hasn’t), and what you’d like life to look like moving forward. Think of it as the beginning of a roadmap—together, we’ll start sketching out where you are and where you want to go. You can expect a calm, compassionate environment where you’re free to be honest, laugh if you need to, cry if you need to, and just be real. I’ll also answer any questions you have about the therapy process so you know exactly what to expect next. By the end of our first session, my hope is that you’ll walk away feeling heard, understood, and maybe even a little lighter—knowing you don’t have to face things alone anymore.
Individual Counseling: At the heart of my work is the belief that healing begins with compassion — learning to see ourselves not as broken, but as becoming. When life feels heavy, therapy offers a place to pause, reflect, and grow in awareness. Together, we explore the patterns that shape your emotions and choices, while building new tools for resilience and peace. I believe change happens gently, through connection, curiosity, and the courage to imagine something new for your life. Couples Counseling: Every relationship holds the potential for renewal. When partners feel unheard or disconnected, it’s often not a sign of failure — but an invitation to look deeper. I view couples counseling as a collaborative process where both voices matter, and each story is honored. By slowing down and listening with empathy, partners can begin to understand not just the conflict, but the longing beneath it. My goal is to help couples restore trust, nurture intimacy, and rediscover the friendship at the foundation of their love. Children/Family Therapy: Children make sense of the world through play, connection, and relationship. When behavior feels confusing or emotions seem too big, therapy offers a way to listen beneath the surface. I believe that healing begins with safety — for both child and caregiver. In our work, I guide families toward understanding, regulation, and deeper connection. As parents grow in confidence and children feel truly seen, families begin to restore calm, trust, and joy in their shared story.
You are ready for something to change—even if they’re not sure where to start. Maybe life feels heavy, your emotions are running the show, or you’re just tired of pretending everything’s fine. You don’t have to have it all figured out; you just need a little willingness to show up and explore what’s possible. Many of my clients come to me dealing with anxiety, depression, grief, trauma, or the stress of major life transitions—divorce, loss, career changes, or shifting family roles. Others are navigating strained relationships or simply feeling disconnected from themselves, their faith, or their sense of purpose. I especially enjoy working with individuals and couples who want to heal deeply, grow stronger, and reconnect with what matters most. Whether you want to manage your symptoms, rebuild relationships, or rediscover joy, I’ll meet you right where you are—with warmth, honesty, and a touch of creativity.
