When working with an adult client with a history of childhood neglect or trauma, I understand how it affected them at the age(s) of the abuse because of my experience in child development.

I tailor my skills and interventions to each person depending on their needs, problems and comfort. Different therapy methods are researched as to the best outcomes based on what symptoms you are struggling with. I follow the research and start with the approaches that are well-studied and show the best results. If you are not feeling better after a few sessions, we discuss this openly and I introduce you to a different approach. I look at therapy as a combined effort with both of us working together to meet your personal goals. While I guide you, your feedback is regularly requested so you are benefiting. You will find that I am very honest, direct, non-judgmental, compassionate and genuine in my desire to help my clients.
