In our first session, you can expect a warm, welcoming space where we get to know each other and explore what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask thoughtful questions about your goals, current challenges, and what has or hasn’t worked for you in the past. We’ll identify the most important areas to focus on and begin building a plan that feels realistic and supportive. My goal is for you to leave the first session feeling heard, understood, and hopeful about the path forward.

My greatest strengths include my warm, relational style and my ability to make clients feel seen, understood, and at ease quickly. With more than two decades of experience, I blend CBT, mindfulness, motivational interviewing, and solution-focused strategies to help clients gain clarity and develop actionable tools for everyday life. I’m skilled at helping high-functioning individuals reduce stress, increase emotional resilience, and reconnect with their confidence and sense of self. Clients often tell me they appreciate my balanced approach—compassionate, practical, and deeply supportive.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I have been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for approx 20 years in my practice to help clients identify unhelpful thought patterns, understand how those thoughts influence emotions and behavior, and build healthier, more empowering ways of responding. In my practice, I integrate CBT with a trauma-informed, strengths-based approach to support clients in developing practical skills they can apply in everyday life.
