About me

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW-C) with over five years of experience supporting individuals through grief, trauma, anxiety, and attachment-related challenges. I take a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, integrating EMDR, CBT, and attachment-based therapies to meet each client’s unique needs. I strive to create a warm, nonjudgmental space where clients feel supported, understood, and empowered to move toward meaningful change and emotional well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my focus is on getting to know you—your story, your goals, and what brings you to therapy. We’ll explore what’s been going on in your life, any challenges you're facing, and what you hope to gain from our work together. I’ll also share a bit about my approach and answer any questions you might have about the therapy process. This initial session is a chance to build comfort and connection, and there's no pressure to share more than you’re ready for.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I integrate evidence-based approaches like EMDR, CBT, and attachment-focused therapy to tailor treatment to each client's unique needs. My work is grounded in compassion and collaboration, and I’m committed to helping clients achieve lasting emotional growth, resilience, and deeper self-understanding. Clients often share that they feel more empowered, connected, and equipped to handle life’s challenges after our work together.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with clients who are ready to explore their inner world and make meaningful changes in their lives. Many of the individuals I support are navigating grief, trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, or patterns rooted in early attachment experiences. My ideal clients are open to self-reflection, even if they're feeling stuck or overwhelmed, and are seeking a supportive, compassionate space to heal, grow, and reconnect with themselves. Whether you're just beginning your therapy journey or returning to it with new goals, I’m here to walk alongside you.

My treatment methods

EMDR

In my practice, I use EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) to help clients process and heal from traumatic experiences and distressing memories. By using bilateral stimulation—such as guided eye movements—I support clients in reducing the emotional intensity tied to past events, allowing for more adaptive thinking and emotional relief. It has been particularly effective with individuals experiencing PTSD, anxiety, and unresolved grief.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. By working collaboratively, we develop practical strategies to reframe negative thinking, build coping skills, and create lasting change. CBT is especially effective for issues like anxiety, depression, and stress management.

Grief Therapy

In my practice, I use grief therapy to support individuals as they navigate the emotional, cognitive, and physical responses to loss. I provide a safe, compassionate space for clients to process their grief at their own pace, explore the meaning of their loss, and begin to rebuild a sense of connection and purpose. Depending on the client's needs, I may integrate approaches like narrative therapy, mindfulness, or EMDR to support healing.

Attachment-based

I use an attachment-based approach to help clients explore how early relational experiences impact their current relationships, emotional patterns, and sense of self. By creating a secure and trusting therapeutic relationship, I support clients in developing healthier attachment styles, building emotional regulation skills, and fostering more secure, connected relationships in their lives.
