Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida, with over 11 years of experience. I earned my Master’s degree from Western Kentucky University, and throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep passion for fostering a therapeutic environment built on acceptance, safety, and non-judgment. My goal is to provide a space where clients can explore and make sense of the most challenging aspects of their lives. I believe that every individual is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to serve as a compassionate guide, offering support and reflection to help you discover your own path toward healing and growth. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, and families, and I specialize in helping clients navigate issues related to anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and school-related challenges.
In our first session, we’ll begin with brief introductions before exploring the specific challenges you're facing. This will allow me to develop a personalized plan to guide our work in future sessions. Keeping in mind that you are the expert in your own life, this time will be dedicated to understanding your thoughts, ideas, and goals for therapy, so we can create a path forward that aligns with your needs.
With over eleven years of experience working with adolescents, young adults, and families, I’ve developed a proven approach to help clients uncover the root causes of their challenges and create personalized plans that drive measurable progress.
I am passionate about helping young adults and families discover and embrace the best versions of themselves, as defined by their own values and aspirations.
I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past ten years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.
I've been using Psychoeducation in my practice for the past ten years. It has helped dozens of clients learn more about their condition and how it has impacted their lives. This has allowed them to grow and adjust to life challenges as they arrive. This has also allowed clients to thrive in who they are when they learn more about themselves.
