Hello, I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida. I received my Masters from the Western Kentucky University and have been practicing for 10 years. I am passionate about creating a therapeutic environment of acceptance, safety, and non-judgement where clients can make sense of the most difficult pieces of their lives. I firmly believe that clients are the experts in their own lives and that my role is to serve as a sounding board for my client's self-discovery and growth. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, couples, and families. I work with adolescents, young adults and families living with anxiety, depression, families issues and school issues.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions. Holding in mind that you are the expert in your life, we will use this time for you to share your thought and ideas related to your goal for therapy.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Having worked with adolescents, young adults and families for the past ten years, I've developed a tried-and true playbook for helping clients identify the root cause of your challenges and create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past ten years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge reoccurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

Psychoeducation

I've been using Psychoeducation in my practice for the past ten years. It has helped dozens of clients learn more about their condition and how it has impacted their lives. This has allowed them to grow and adjust to life challenges as they arrive. This has also allowed clients to thrive in who they are when they learn more about themselves.

Family Therapy

Being trained in Child Parent Psychotherapy, I have been trained to look at the whole family dynamic to assist families in understanding how they can increase positive supportive relationships.
