LCSW, 11 years of experience
Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Florida, with over 11 years of experience. I earned my Master’s degree from Western Kentucky University, and throughout my career, I’ve developed a deep passion for fostering a therapeutic environment built on acceptance, safety, and non-judgment. My goal is to provide a space where clients can explore and make sense of the most challenging aspects of their lives. I believe that every individual is the expert of their own experience, and my role is to serve as a compassionate guide, offering support and reflection to help you discover your own path toward healing and growth. I have experience working with adolescents, teens, adults, and families, and I specialize in helping clients navigate issues related to anxiety, depression, family dynamics, and school-related challenges.
In our first session, we’ll start with brief introductions and then explore the challenges you’re currently facing. This will help me get a clearer picture of your unique experiences so I can develop a personalized plan to guide our work together. Because you are the expert in your own life, our time will focus on your thoughts, ideas, and goals for therapy. From there, we’ll work side by side to create a path forward that feels supportive, meaningful, and tailored to your needs.
For more than eleven years, I’ve had the privilege of working with adolescents, young adults, and families. My approach is rooted in helping you get to the heart of what you’re going through and building a personalized plan that supports real growth and lasting change.
I am passionate about helping young adults and families discover and embrace the best versions of themselves, defined not by outside expectations, but by their own values and aspirations.
For the last eleven years, I’ve been using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients better manage their anxiety and stress. Together, we’ll look at how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors affect one another, and then practice ways to change the patterns that aren’t serving you. This can help you feel more in control, less anxious, and more at ease in your day-to-day life.
For the last eleven years, I’ve used psychoeducation in my work to help clients really understand their conditions and how these experiences affect their lives. Learning more about themselves gives clients the tools to adapt to challenges, grow through them, and feel more confident in who they are.

I always feel so refreshed and great when I get off of a call with Angela. She really does a great job of keeping it real with me, but also reminding me that my feelings are valid. I have really transformed in my way of thinking and living in just a few months and Angela has been a tremendous part of that. I couldn’t be more grateful to find someone like her that helps me through this journey that we call life.
