Hello, I am Deidra Wells, LMFT. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist practicing in Rancho Cucamonga, California & service the state of Texas. I received my Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and my Master’s degree in Counseling with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from the University of Phoenix. I have been in the field for 14 years in various therapy settings. My specialties include addiction counseling with treatment of underlying mental health disorders or life challenges, career counseling, adulting skills, co-dependency, depression, trauma, childhood issues, grief, relationship issues, abuse and anxiety.
In our first session together, we'll start with brief introductions, then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Having worked with young adults and adults for the past 12 years, I've developed a method to adapt and adjust to my clients treatment goals, set backs, and challenges to help identify skills or tools that make sense for you to aid in (a) identifying the root cause of your challenges and (b) create a tailored plan that leads to measurable progress.
I enjoy working with young adults who are in the first few years of their careers or life after high school or adults working on managing life's challenges. My clients are eager to improve, but don't yet have the tools needed to make this goal a reality. They often feel stuck, overwhelmed and anxious about their careers, life choices, or struggling to identify their goals.
