LPC, 12 years of experience
Have you been experiencing anxiety and depression related to heartbreak, financial difficulties, or loss of a loved one? Have you been feeling stressed and not like yourself lately? I can help you address these issues. I am a licensed professional counselor (LPC) and master addiction counselor (MAC) in Georgia and NJ. I have over a decade of experience providing counseling services. I believe in treating anyone with respect and compassion. I provide an open and honest environment. I have worked with clients with a wide range of concerns including depression, bipolar, schizophrenia, grief/loss, relationship issues, co-ocurring disorders, and addiction. I have experience working with all populations from children to geriatric. It takes courage to reach out for help. If you are ready to take that step I am here to support and empower you.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know each other and begin building a trusting, comfortable relationship. My goal is to create a safe and supportive space where you can talk openly about what brings you to counseling and what you’d like to achieve. You will be able to ask any questions that you have regarding therapy and expectations. The first session is typically more conversational and exploratory than solution-focused. It’s normal to feel nervous or unsure, most people do, but you don’t need to prepare anything in advance. Just come as you are. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer picture of how counseling can best support you and what the next steps will look like moving forward.
I meet clients exactly where they are, without judgment or pretense. I combine honesty and empathy, meaning I’ll listen carefully and validate what you’re feeling, but I’ll also be straightforward when it comes to helping you see patterns or make changes that move you forward. My style is collaborative and realistic. I don’t believe in one-size-fits-all therapy. I tailor techniques from evidence-based methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Therapy, and Mindfulness-Based approaches to fit your personality, pace, and goals. I focus on helping clients build self-awareness, emotional balance, and practical coping tools they can use outside of sessions. Clients often share that they appreciate my transparency and the safe, comfortable space I create where they can be fully themselves. My goal is not only to help you feel better but to help you live better with clarity, confidence, and realistic strategies that support lasting growth.
I am best positioned to serve adults who are seeking support in navigating life’s challenges, managing stress, and building healthier ways of coping. Many of the clients I work with come to therapy feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or uncertain about how to move forward. I specialize in working with individuals who want to better understand themselves, improve their emotional well-being, and create lasting change in their lives. Whether the goal is to manage anxiety or depression, process grief or past experiences, strengthen relationships, or simply gain clarity and direction, I provide a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and empowered to grow. I find I work best with clients who are open to reflection, motivated for change—even if unsure where to start—and ready to take meaningful steps toward healing and personal growth.
I have over 10 years of experiencing providing therapy. My role is to help guide you in identifying negative thought patterns, replacing them with healthier alternatives, and encouraging you to engage in behaviors that promote positive change. I provide a supportive, non-judgmental, and empowering therapeutic relationship.
