Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Each individual has a unique past, present, and future. I do not believe in prescribing or treating in a "one size fits all" fashion. I value input and feedback from my patients. I am open-minded, holistic, and solution oriented. My hope is that patients leave their appointment feeling like their concerns have been heard and fully addressed, they were respected and not judged, they have a clear understanding of their treatment plan and have a more hopeful outlook for their future.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having over 14 years' experience in mental health has fueled my commitment to providing personalized and compassionate care. I am proficient in-patient care, tele-psychiatry, and mental health education.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My experience in diverse healthcare settings has honed my ability to deliver clinical excellence. I treat children and adults from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, aiming to combat cultural stigma and increase mental health awareness. My focus areas are ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorder, autism diagnosis, oppositional defiant disorder, eating disorder, substance abuse, depression, and other mood disorders, but I treat all mental health conditions.

Love is very understanding and communicative with the way she approaches her clients. Speaking with her in-depth about starting my medication eased my initial worries and knowing that she's available to talk to in case of any adverse side effects gave me more confidence in taking them.

Dr. Bamisile is a very good and compassionate listener. I felt heard and understood. I felt that she had good advice concerning the future treatment plan for helping with coping skills and a reasonable medication (not excessive) I feel confident this plan will help aliveiate symptoms of depression, anxiety, and PTSD, that I have been coping with for many years.

I have only been to one other psychiatrist and finding Dr. Bamisile was detrimental to being correctly diagnosed with ADD, she asked more questions than I had before and it made me feel like I was being taken seriously. I chose her because as a woman we’re not heard as much and it was nice to connect with someone who took things seriously and helped me understand things about myself and my actions thus far. I can’t wait to feel better.
