My name is Love Bamisile, MSN, PMHNP-BC, certified by the American Nursing Credentialing Center, with over 10 years of experience in mental health. As a dedicated psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner, I have spent the past two years gaining the expertise necessary to support individuals on their mental health journeys. My personal, educational, and professional experiences ensure that I can empathetically treat clients with various psychiatric concerns.
Each individual has a unique past, present, and future. I do not believe in prescribing or treating in a "one size fits all" fashion. I value input and feedback from my patients. I am open-minded, holistic, and solution oriented. My hope is that patients leave their appointment feeling like their concerns have been heard and fully addressed, they were respected and not judged, they have a clear understanding of their treatment plan and have a more hopeful outlook for their future.
Having over 10 years' experience in mental health has fueled my commitment to providing personalized and compassionate care. I am proficient in-patient care, tele-psychiatry, and mental health education.
My experience in diverse healthcare settings has honed my ability to deliver clinical excellence. I treat children and adults from different racial and ethnic backgrounds, aiming to combat cultural stigma and increase mental health awareness. My focus areas are ADHD, anxiety, PTSD, bipolar disorder, schizophrenia, personality disorder, autism diagnosis, oppositional defiant disorder, eating disorder, substance abuse, depression, and other mood disorders, but I treat all mental health conditions.
This type of treatment method aims to help my patients move forward through difficult emotions so they can put their energy into healing instead of dwelling on the negative or intrusive thoughts.
