What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During our first session, we'll start with brief introductions, and then I will gather pertinent information, as well as, leaving time for you to share what you feel is important that I know. We will discuss specific challenges that you're facing. I will also share what you can expect from me as your therapist. Afterwards, we will work together to create a tailored plan to help you reach your individual goals.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is helpful when someone feels stuck in patterns of thinking or reacting that cause distress. We will work together to gently notice those patterns and find healthier ways of thinking and responding that bring relief and a greater sense of control.

Faith based therapy

Faith-based counseling brings a client’s spiritual beliefs into the healing process. For many, faith is a core part of how they make sense of life. In these sessions, therapist and the clients may draw on their faith through personal reflection, spiritual conversations, or exploring values rooted in their beliefs. Faith based therapy will be used alongside emotional support to help strengthen hope, connection, and resilience.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a compassionate, structured approach that focuses on building practical skills for managing strong emotions and improving relationships. It’s especially helpful for individuals who find their feelings can become intense quickly, or who have a hard time staying steady during conflict or emotionally charged situations.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-Centered Therapy (PCT) focuses on creating a space where the client feels truly heard, accepted, and valued—just as they are. The relationship between the client and therapist becomes the foundation for healing, allowing people to grow in self-trust and confidence over time.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) gently guides people to focus on what’s working and where they want to go, rather than getting lost in what’s not. It’s a practical and encouraging approach that highlights strengths, builds on small successes, and keeps momentum going.
