New to Grow
I am a licensed therapist who works with individuals and couples navigating anxiety, depression, relationship challenges, and life transitions. I offer a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand their emotions, patterns, and relationships, while developing practical tools for meaningful change. I bring warmth, curiosity, and humor into my work, and value genuine connection, both in and out of the therapy room. In my personal life, I enjoy engaging with others and having fun, and I believe that healing can happen alongside authenticity, laughter, and real human connection.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your history, your current challenges, and your goals so we can build a clear plan together. You’ll have space to share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with, and we’ll discuss how therapy can help you move forward. My goal is to create a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment so that you feel heard, understood, and at ease from the very beginning.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
One of my greatest strengths is creating a safe, supportive space where clients feel heard and understood. I help clients uncover patterns in their thoughts, emotions, and relationships, using evidence-based techniques tailored to their needs. Clients often leave sessions with clarity, practical tools, and a sense of progress toward meaningful, lasting change.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I am best positioned to work with couples who are motivated, open, and ready to actively engage in the therapeutic process, even when it feels challenging or uncomfortable. I work well with partners who want to better understand one another, take responsibility for their own growth, and build healthier patterns of communication and connection. I also enjoy working with individual adults who are navigating difficult life experiences, emotional overwhelm, or major transitions, and who are curious about understanding themselves more deeply, their beliefs, relationships, and place in the world. My ideal clients are reflective, willing to explore patterns, and committed to meaningful change rather than quick fixes.
Couples Counseling
In my couples counseling work, I help partners slow down negative cycles, understand each other more deeply, and rebuild trust and emotional connection. Sessions focus on improving communication, increasing empathy, and creating realistic, respectful agreements around conflict, intimacy, and daily life. My approach is collaborative and tailored to each couple’s unique dynamics and goals.
Psychodynamic
In my work, I use a psychodynamic approach to help clients understand how past experiences, relationships, and unconscious patterns shape their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Therapy is a space to explore these patterns with curiosity and compassion, so meaningful insight and lasting change can develop over time.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we identify unhelpful thinking patterns and practice practical strategies to challenge them, reduce distress, and build healthier coping skills for everyday life.
