New to Grow
I am an integrative therapist who draws from person-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral approaches to provide individualized and compassionate care. I have extensive experience supporting clients navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, women’s issues, and life transitions. I tailor the therapeutic process to each individual’s unique needs, strengths, and goals, ensuring that treatment is both personalized and meaningful. My approach is grounded in the belief that meaningful change begins within a safe, supportive therapeutic relationship. I come alongside clients in their journey, helping them develop effective coping skills, uncover and understand maladaptive patterns rooted in past experiences, and build greater self-awareness. Through this process, clients are empowered to reconnect with their authentic selves, strengthen resilience, and move toward a more balanced and fulfilling life. My goal is not only to reduce symptoms, but to help individuals thrive with confidence, clarity, and a deeper sense of purpose.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
In our first session, I will spend time gathering information about your current concerns and symptoms, as well as your background, relationships, and what has led you to seek therapy at this time. The primary goal is to get to know you better and begin understanding how I can best support you. You are always in control of what you choose to share. We will move at a pace that feels comfortable for you, and there is no expectation to discuss anything you are not ready to explore. The first session is focused on building rapport, creating a safe and supportive environment, and developing a shared understanding of how we can work together effectively toward your goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
I have extensive experience working across a variety of clinical settings, including residential and outpatient substance use treatment centers, primary mental health facilities, and private practice. These diverse environments have strengthened my ability to support clients with a wide range of needs and backgrounds. I am deeply committed to creating a nonjudgmental, compassionate space where clients feel truly seen and heard. I genuinely value connecting with people and believe that while life can be challenging, having someone walk alongside you can make a meaningful difference. We all face difficulties at different points in our lives, and seeking support is a sign of strength, not weakness. In addition to my professional training, I bring lived life experience that allows me to empathize deeply with others’ pain and struggles. My approach centers on authentic connection, thoughtful guidance when appropriate, and empowering clients to recognize the strength, potential, and sense of purpose that have been within them all along.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
My ideal clients are individuals who value self-awareness, actively engage in the therapeutic process, and are motivated to grow into the best version of themselves. They may be navigating periods of uncertainty, emotional distress, or significant change, yet remain open to reflection, growth, and meaningful transformation. I enjoy working with clients across a broad range of concerns, including substance use, life transitions, and women’s issues, as well as anxiety and depression. Many of the individuals I work with are seeking not only symptom relief, but also deeper understanding—wanting to explore patterns from their past, strengthen coping skills, and build healthier relationships with themselves and others.
Integrative
I utilize an integrative, eclectic approach to therapy, drawing from person-centered, psychodynamic, and cognitive behavioral modalities. I tailor treatment to the unique needs, strengths, and goals of each individual client, ensuring that the therapeutic process is both collaborative and responsive. I prioritize creating a safe, non-judgmental environment where clients can explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences at their own pace. I like to empower clients to access their own inner resources and insights, fostering self-awareness and personal growth. I see my role as coming alongside people in their journey, supporting them as they explore their feelings, thoughts, and experiences. I help clients explore underlying unconscious patterns, past experiences, and relational dynamics that influence present behavior, as well as identify and challenge unhelpful thoughts that keep them stuck and engaging in unwanted behaviors.
